Music and Christians Essay
Music is an everyday occurrence for most people. In some way, shape and form, people listen to music. For Christians, specially those at bible
college, this can be in chapel day to day. For others it may be in a car or even in the workplace, which can be the case for Christians also. Music for
me is an everyday occurrence, not only in chapel but also in other places such as my dorm room and when I get ready for sports. These things has
caused me to research the topic of music. It has a huge impact on my life. I have sometimes listened to music when I am stressed out and need an
escape. I listen to music to get ready for sports games, such as for football and basketball. Music is in my dorm room when I am doing homework.

The music I listen to most is in the rock genre. Solomon elaborated on this topic when determining whether rock music is evil or not: "Rock music
is not intrinsically evil. It did not originate in a pagan past, and even if it did that would not mean that it is evil. Nevertheless, since it has been a
prominent and influential part of American culture for several decades, it demands the attention of evangelicals. The attention it is given should
begin with the understanding that the problems that are a part of rock do not reside in the music itself; they reside in sinful people who can and
often do abuse it. The same can be said about any musical style, or any other art form." (Solomon leaderu.com) So to look at it this way is to see
that rock music is not evil in itself. But it does show that we are to look at the abuse of it and lean on the fact of the lyrics as stated earlier. Another
source looks at whether God can use rock music for His glory or not. The article says that question shouldn't be, "Can God use Christian rock music for
His glory?" but it should be, "Will He use Christian rock music for His glory." (Bealer helium.com) The author Paula Bealer follows that with a
question of her own, "Why wouldn't he?" She also goes on to state: This scripture [Psalms 150:3–6] is only one of many scriptures that tell us to use

Teenage years are the times for new experiences and music was no different as the experience marked with great memories of music that is very
nostalgic and can be attached to moments good or bad that make us reminisce when we hear the music of our child hood. I am Mexican and my
teenage years I spent in Mexico until I was sixteen when my family migrated to the united states however I didn't really understood English I can
honestly say that I like Rock En Espanol and would not hesitate to say that it is my favorite genre of music when I was a teenager, I will try my
best to share my favorite music as I reminisce on some great music in my past. As a teenager growing up in Mexico I wasn't really interested in
listening to music, as my interest were sports and television. The musical influences that I can recall in my early childhood, were those of my
parents. Who would listen to Corridos and Rancheras, which were a type of folk Mexican revolutionary music, they would sing about the
struggles in life during the Mexican civil war. As I grew up the type of music my friends listen to were Cumbias Colombianas and Rock En Espanol
those were my early memories of music which I still listen and enjoy today. I would listen to Rock En Espanol artist like CafГ© Tacuba, Caifanes,
Mana, Maldita Vecindad, Enanitos Verdes, and Fabulosos Cadillacs. I began listening more to the lyrics and the sound of the music for example,
Maldita Vecindad has a Rock sound that evolved into a Ska sound.

Music in My Life Essay
Music, it's a part of everyone's life. From childhood sing–a–long songs, to garage grunge music, and everything in between music is everywhere.
Growing up with an extremely musical background it was in my genes that I would become a musician. Playing music has helped me become the
person I am by being a release for my anger, broadening my future and make new friends.. I first joined the band in the fourth grade playing the
drums. I played for about two weeks then I quit because I didn't like it, mostly because of the teacher. In the sixth grade we got a new music teacher
and told me I look like a trumpet player, so I gave it a try. I was taking music lessons but after the first one my music teacher told me she had to leave

When I get into fights with my step dad which to this day is still a problem instead of resorting to violence I would go and blare by favorite song at
the time over and over again. Also after having a hard time in high school being wrongfully suspended twice instead of dropping out or giving up I
had my bass to return home to home to sit for hours and write songs, hundreds of songs. The songs would relate to my feelings. Some songs would
be hard full of hate and anger but some songs were mellow with sad heart filled lyrics. If it weren't for these songs to write I you would not be
sitting here reading my paper. The girls in high school were also a reason for writing songs and playing trumpet. In all of my high school all my
relationships I was cheated on. This caused for harsh break ups, uncalled for arguments, and an untrusting Nick Henry. High school years where
trying times and if it wasn't for my music things would not have turned out they way they have. Music equals life, or the saying goes. I feel if I
had dropped out of band I would have missed out on a great experience. The ability to play music is something that will live on in you for the rest
of your life. Unlike playing a sport you can't ever get worn out or injured and lose the talent. All through school I played sports from baseball to
soccer, sure it was fun but it was never my calling, but just being able to play music for a live audience is a feeling that is so amazing there are not

Growing up, I've always been surrounded by music.
When I think of my childhood, I think of music. I think of my parents' tape cassettes and CDs and my dad's guitar. I think of all the times my mum
sang along to Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell on the stereo while I played in the living room, I think of how my dad played guitar and sang Oasis and
Stereophonics. I remember admiring my dad, the lead singer of a band he created with my uncles and his friends, and wishing I could be just like him.
As a child, music was one of my many sources of happiness. My first love was the early 2000s pop–rock band Busted, but when Busted broke up in
2005, I quickly became obsessed with McFly instead. I don't know what it was –– maybe I inherited my parents'...show more content...
Now, as a teenager, music is my lifeline. I can't begin to count the number of times music has soothed me, calmness washing over me in waves as I
put in my earphones and tune out my hectic everyday life. In the turbulent teenage years, especially, I feel safe in the thought that music is always
going to be there for me. No matter how sad or upset or angry I feel, there's always a song that can pick my mood up and make me feel happy again.
One song that's really had an impact on my life is Gold by Britt Nicole. The year I was twelve was one of the worst years of my life. I remember
trudging home after a particularly terrible day at school: my "friends" were cruel to me, my heart was all kinds of broken, and it felt like I would
never be able to stop crying. Instead of going straight home my usual way, I decided to take a shortcut and pass by the little park I liked to play in
when I was younger, in hopes that would comfort me. And then, I decided to listen to some music.
Gold was the first song that started playing, and I remember the exact lyrics that made me feel so much better: Whatever you've been told, you're worth
more than gold.
Ever since that day, music has been a huge comfort to me; no matter how bad I'm feeling, I can always find a song that will make me feel better.
It's not just listening to music that I love: songwriting is one of my favourite ways to express myself,

My Music Journey
People say that music has the ability to heal a person mentally and spiritually. But to me, music is much more than just healing. It is a way for me to
escape this world called reality and enter a world with in my imagination through the different beats, harmony, and chorus. Only when listening to
music, I can truly feel all my emotions with each song having the power to make me remember, from painful to happy memories. As I grew up to be
the person I am today, my music journey also grows with me. Looking back at it now, I would never want to change a single thing.
In 1973, exactly twenty–five years prior to my birth, my parents were just in elementary school. They told me stories about their lives back then but
none contained any traces of music. The only stories about music back in those years were from my grandmother. Back then, my parents grew up in
Viet Nam in a poor family with no televisions so they couldn't really listen to any music growing up. Although my parents could not listen to music
on television like how we can now; they were able to come to live performances by local artists held at the district's performance center every other
month because the shows were free. My grandmother told me that the music back then was really different than how it is now. The songs served many
purposes to the citizens, it was an encouragement to soldiers at war, it was the rhythm that put kids to sleep, it was the comfort food for everyone who
listen. Grandma told me the style

Listening For Your Favorite Music
Listening to your favorite music brings a sense of happiness and sustainability to help you overcome your normal school or work day. It also makes
one feel quite energized and gain a sense of confidence. However besides having increasing motivation and having an energy boost, music can make
one feel smarter and even intelligent. In recent studies, experiments including like "The Mozart Effect" are proving that listening to music specifically
Mozart sonatas can make one score at least 30 points more on a test like the SAT and ACT (How Music Affects the Body). Besides making one gain
intelligence, music has been proven to get rid of physical pain. A recent study that was conducted at Aarhus University in Denmark reported that most
of the patient 's reported that they felt less unpleasant and less intense. "The problem with most chronic pain is all the medicines they are forced to
take. Whatever it may be, it's bad because it can cause stomach upset, can be addictive, etc." (Peter Vuust, Aarhus University, Denmark) . All that music
can do is very unbelievable. Science has changed everything that we know into something like music that can be used as medicine. Listening to your
favorite music can reduce feelings of physical pain, increase intelligence, and increase creativity.
Besides the fact of music increase intelligence and increasing creativity, it has been proven that by many different studies that music can perhaps be
known to lower the physical affects of pain. As

Music is an art form whose medium is sound and silence that are organized in time in a special way. Its common elements are pitch (which governs
melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture.
In the historical context the development of music is inseparable from the active development of person's sensory abilities. Course of the auditory
development of the man of the musical material in a changing cultural environment is the most fundamental part of the music history.

Russian rock went through a difficult period in 1983–85 years, when on the initiative of the Chernenko in the amateur groups were suppressed, the

music from Blue October is ever changing and has been linear to my ever changing life. I love the music that they make because it is real and

two bedroom appartment and I was watching my mother draw big beautiful paisly prints on thick paper with her shimmery gel pens. While I
watched her hands I listened to the lullaby sound of the violin in the song. Even now, depending on how I feel, I will listen to the music most. I

My Experience In Music And Music
Music
Throughout my life, I have been involved in a plethora of extracurricular activities, including swimming and student council. However, no activity has
had a more noticeable and extraordinary impact on my life than my involvement in music. Since I joined my first choir, music has affected me
personally, and through my involvement in piano lessons, extracurricular choirs, and even an All State choir, effects on my personal development are
quite apparent. Besides my participation in my elementary school choir, my first experience with music that has had an enormous effect on my personal
development is when I decided to start learning piano. After my eighth birthday, my parents decided they would sign me up for piano lessons with
one of our family friends. So, every Tuesday after school, I would walk to my teacher's house to learn the basics of piano. At first, I did not
appreciate what piano lessons were teaching me. I found the act of playing this instrument mostly dull, and it felt more like a chore to play rather
than a fun solitary activity. However, as I grew older, I found myself gravitating towards the instrument more and more. The piano became a
method of stress relief for me. As I became more involved in my school and community, my life became more stressful. As this stress built up, I
began to search for a means of relief from this problem. I found that the piano was a perfect way of escaping my busy world and appreciating what life
had to give to me. As I

I heard this song for one more time and I ended up crying like crazy for almost one hour and over. It is because the lyrics and melody of the song

just realized after his death that most the song that sang and written by him are related to his depression. It looks like he wanted to convey his feeling
through the song as he such a cheerful guy in front of cameras. Unfortunately, most of his friend and fans did not realize that and he chose that ways

The piano is one of my favorite musical instruments. It is a great instrument because of how easy it is to pick up on it. Unlike other instruments
like the violin and guitar, you always know what you are going to get when you attempt to play a note. It also sounds amazing and it is very
relaxing to the ear. Pianos are played in many styles but the two most popular styles would probably be classical and jazz. Jazz styled music is most
focused on improvisation while classically styled music requires you to master many skills from the keyboard. Classical is known to be the hardest
style to learn. I tried to play a few classical pieces on my piano but each hand is playing completely different notes at different times and it's hard
because the notes are played so fast. If you accidentally play a wrong note, it doesn't sound right. My favorite genres of the piano are classical and
light jazz. There are many singer–songwriters who play piano that inspire me to play. The sound of the piano is very unique and I like how you can
combine many keys to make cool melodies. The piano has evolved over the years from the harpsichord to the grand piano to digital keyboards. In 1700,
the piano was born thanks to Bartolomeo di Francesco Cristofori. The piano is a fascinating instrument that has changed over time and continues to be
an important instrument in the music industry.

Music Is My Dream Essay
What is the only art that can be felt? Music is the answer. We can't touch music, but music touches us. It is an expression of certain aesthetic ideas
through rhythm, tune and language. Music is that bridge which connects our soul–that inner self in us which is hidden from the society and even our
conscious selves, to the outside world, or more specifically, to other people's souls. For this reason I have been able to devote the time and energy
necessary to musical accomplishment even though money has always been tight and that's why I need a strong financial support to reach my dreams.

If asked the question, "What is your favorite song," you would be able to answer that question in just a couple of seconds. In today's society, music

Music can be found anywhere in everyday life. It can be found on the radio, on television, on computers and on our phones. Music is able to help

emotional connections to older memories. There are endless possibilities music is used for to appeal to each and every person in today's world.
Music can be heard on the radio as we are driving down the road. From time to time, I even listen to music while I study. When listening to music in
the car, usually, you have set stations for your preference. As I drive, I usually listen to modern day rap and hip hop. This type of music helps me as a
person think more creatively. My mom, on the other hand listens to country music as she is driving. When she listens to country music, she becomes
more relaxed. When I need to listen to relaxing music, I listen to more classical music. Classical music helps relax me due to playing the flute for 4

age of 15 years, I have had calming music as background noise. I believe this helps me to concentrate on the work I am completing. I will always be
thankful for music for helping me every day. When visiting a restaurant you will hear music to fit the theme that that particular restaurant is trying to

I have been immersed in music for most of my life. My musical home is influenced by both American music–culture and Pakistani music culture. I
grew up listening to Pakistani, Indian, and American music and still do. Along with those cultures, I recently developed a taste in South Korean music.
However, I have never thought about how my musical home and the music culture I grew up in influenced my music preferences. My tastes in music
cannot be labeled as one certain thing. My iPod is filled with music of many different genres and cultures. If I were to break down my music
preference, there are generally three aspects that influence how I resonate with music: the vocalization, the instruments, and the lyrics (if any). Apart
from those aspects, songs that express a certain emotion or story clearly appeal to me.
Vocalization is what most attracts me to a certainsong or style of music. There are some artists whose voices and tones attract me no matter what
genre they sing. Some of my favorite artists are Arijit Singh, Shilpa Rao, Roy Kim, and Yoo Kihyun. Singh has the type of voice that sounds
pleasant no matter what type of song he sings. His song "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" shows the emotional depth of his voice while his song "Nashe Si

Music and I
Ever since I was a small child, I have loved music. The strong, steady beats, the entrancing melodies, and the lyrics that vary between heart–warming
and heart–wrenching have always had an unexplainable affect on my life. Music seems to have the ability to change certain aspects of my world. If I
am in a foul mood, an angry girl band can make my rotten attitude even more irresistibly awful. When I am happy, any sort of upbeat, dance–to–me

few notes.
When my older sister got married, I wanted to do something special to remind her of our childhood and to take her mind off of the wedding stress as
we were getting ready the day of the wedding. I thought back to all of the songs we loved when we were little, many of which were sung by the
infamous one–hit–wonders of the eighties. I think each generation has songs that are popular to them and that they will never forget the lyrics to.
However, if you mentioned the artists that sang them or the names of other songs they sang, no one would have a clue what you were saying. Still,
the songs are precious to the people that grew up with them. When my sister and I listened to the CD I made for her in the limousine on the way to

being so outgoing and funny caught my attention. I wouldn't say I developed feelings but I did adopt his mannerism because again, I had no self
identity. By doing this we've became close. He'd invite me everywhere he went. He would put me first then all of his friends. To be honest, I felt
great getting this much attention. Admittedly, I only hung out with Eddie because of his risky behavior. He was a daredevil in my eyes, and
everything he was I wanted to be. Although, Eddie had everybody fooled by his facade but I knew deep down how much of a monster he was. On a
cool Saturday night, Eddie invited me to a ghetto party at a shady, crime filled neighborhood. I stupidly accept his invitation, and we drove to the place.
As soon as we get there, my gut started turning.

Music And Christians Essay

  • 1. Music and Christians Essay Music is an everyday occurrence for most people. In some way, shape and form, people listen to music. For Christians, specially those at bible college, this can be in chapel day to day. For others it may be in a car or even in the workplace, which can be the case for Christians also. Music for me is an everyday occurrence, not only in chapel but also in other places such as my dorm room and when I get ready for sports. These things has caused me to research the topic of music. It has a huge impact on my life. I have sometimes listened to music when I am stressed out and need an escape. I listen to music to get ready for sports games, such as for football and basketball. Music is in my dorm room when I am doing homework. When reading or...show more content... The music I listen to most is in the rock genre. Solomon elaborated on this topic when determining whether rock music is evil or not: "Rock music is not intrinsically evil. It did not originate in a pagan past, and even if it did that would not mean that it is evil. Nevertheless, since it has been a prominent and influential part of American culture for several decades, it demands the attention of evangelicals. The attention it is given should begin with the understanding that the problems that are a part of rock do not reside in the music itself; they reside in sinful people who can and often do abuse it. The same can be said about any musical style, or any other art form." (Solomon leaderu.com) So to look at it this way is to see that rock music is not evil in itself. But it does show that we are to look at the abuse of it and lean on the fact of the lyrics as stated earlier. Another source looks at whether God can use rock music for His glory or not. The article says that question shouldn't be, "Can God use Christian rock music for His glory?" but it should be, "Will He use Christian rock music for His glory." (Bealer helium.com) The author Paula Bealer follows that with a question of her own, "Why wouldn't he?" She also goes on to state: This scripture [Psalms 150:3–6] is only one of many scriptures that tell us to use Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My Favorite Music Essay Teenage years are the times for new experiences and music was no different as the experience marked with great memories of music that is very nostalgic and can be attached to moments good or bad that make us reminisce when we hear the music of our child hood. I am Mexican and my teenage years I spent in Mexico until I was sixteen when my family migrated to the united states however I didn't really understood English I can honestly say that I like Rock En Espanol and would not hesitate to say that it is my favorite genre of music when I was a teenager, I will try my best to share my favorite music as I reminisce on some great music in my past. As a teenager growing up in Mexico I wasn't really interested in listening to music, as my interest were sports and television. The musical influences that I can recall in my early childhood, were those of my parents. Who would listen to Corridos and Rancheras, which were a type of folk Mexican revolutionary music, they would sing about the struggles in life during the Mexican civil war. As I grew up the type of music my friends listen to were Cumbias Colombianas and Rock En Espanol those were my early memories of music which I still listen and enjoy today. I would listen to Rock En Espanol artist like CafГ© Tacuba, Caifanes, Mana, Maldita Vecindad, Enanitos Verdes, and Fabulosos Cadillacs. I began listening more to the lyrics and the sound of the music for example, Maldita Vecindad has a Rock sound that evolved into a Ska sound. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Music in My Life Essay Music, it's a part of everyone's life. From childhood sing–a–long songs, to garage grunge music, and everything in between music is everywhere. Growing up with an extremely musical background it was in my genes that I would become a musician. Playing music has helped me become the person I am by being a release for my anger, broadening my future and make new friends.. I first joined the band in the fourth grade playing the drums. I played for about two weeks then I quit because I didn't like it, mostly because of the teacher. In the sixth grade we got a new music teacher and told me I look like a trumpet player, so I gave it a try. I was taking music lessons but after the first one my music teacher told me she had to leave because she...show more content... When I get into fights with my step dad which to this day is still a problem instead of resorting to violence I would go and blare by favorite song at the time over and over again. Also after having a hard time in high school being wrongfully suspended twice instead of dropping out or giving up I had my bass to return home to home to sit for hours and write songs, hundreds of songs. The songs would relate to my feelings. Some songs would be hard full of hate and anger but some songs were mellow with sad heart filled lyrics. If it weren't for these songs to write I you would not be sitting here reading my paper. The girls in high school were also a reason for writing songs and playing trumpet. In all of my high school all my relationships I was cheated on. This caused for harsh break ups, uncalled for arguments, and an untrusting Nick Henry. High school years where trying times and if it wasn't for my music things would not have turned out they way they have. Music equals life, or the saying goes. I feel if I had dropped out of band I would have missed out on a great experience. The ability to play music is something that will live on in you for the rest of your life. Unlike playing a sport you can't ever get worn out or injured and lose the talent. All through school I played sports from baseball to soccer, sure it was fun but it was never my calling, but just being able to play music for a live audience is a feeling that is so amazing there are not enough Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. My Favorite Music Growing up, I've always been surrounded by music. When I think of my childhood, I think of music. I think of my parents' tape cassettes and CDs and my dad's guitar. I think of all the times my mum sang along to Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell on the stereo while I played in the living room, I think of how my dad played guitar and sang Oasis and Stereophonics. I remember admiring my dad, the lead singer of a band he created with my uncles and his friends, and wishing I could be just like him. As a child, music was one of my many sources of happiness. My first love was the early 2000s pop–rock band Busted, but when Busted broke up in 2005, I quickly became obsessed with McFly instead. I don't know what it was –– maybe I inherited my parents'...show more content... Now, as a teenager, music is my lifeline. I can't begin to count the number of times music has soothed me, calmness washing over me in waves as I put in my earphones and tune out my hectic everyday life. In the turbulent teenage years, especially, I feel safe in the thought that music is always going to be there for me. No matter how sad or upset or angry I feel, there's always a song that can pick my mood up and make me feel happy again. One song that's really had an impact on my life is Gold by Britt Nicole. The year I was twelve was one of the worst years of my life. I remember trudging home after a particularly terrible day at school: my "friends" were cruel to me, my heart was all kinds of broken, and it felt like I would never be able to stop crying. Instead of going straight home my usual way, I decided to take a shortcut and pass by the little park I liked to play in when I was younger, in hopes that would comfort me. And then, I decided to listen to some music. Gold was the first song that started playing, and I remember the exact lyrics that made me feel so much better: Whatever you've been told, you're worth more than gold. Ever since that day, music has been a huge comfort to me; no matter how bad I'm feeling, I can always find a song that will make me feel better. It's not just listening to music that I love: songwriting is one of my favourite ways to express myself, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. My Music Journey People say that music has the ability to heal a person mentally and spiritually. But to me, music is much more than just healing. It is a way for me to escape this world called reality and enter a world with in my imagination through the different beats, harmony, and chorus. Only when listening to music, I can truly feel all my emotions with each song having the power to make me remember, from painful to happy memories. As I grew up to be the person I am today, my music journey also grows with me. Looking back at it now, I would never want to change a single thing. In 1973, exactly twenty–five years prior to my birth, my parents were just in elementary school. They told me stories about their lives back then but none contained any traces of music. The only stories about music back in those years were from my grandmother. Back then, my parents grew up in Viet Nam in a poor family with no televisions so they couldn't really listen to any music growing up. Although my parents could not listen to music on television like how we can now; they were able to come to live performances by local artists held at the district's performance center every other month because the shows were free. My grandmother told me that the music back then was really different than how it is now. The songs served many purposes to the citizens, it was an encouragement to soldiers at war, it was the rhythm that put kids to sleep, it was the comfort food for everyone who listen. Grandma told me the style Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Listening For Your Favorite Music Listening to your favorite music brings a sense of happiness and sustainability to help you overcome your normal school or work day. It also makes one feel quite energized and gain a sense of confidence. However besides having increasing motivation and having an energy boost, music can make one feel smarter and even intelligent. In recent studies, experiments including like "The Mozart Effect" are proving that listening to music specifically Mozart sonatas can make one score at least 30 points more on a test like the SAT and ACT (How Music Affects the Body). Besides making one gain intelligence, music has been proven to get rid of physical pain. A recent study that was conducted at Aarhus University in Denmark reported that most of the patient 's reported that they felt less unpleasant and less intense. "The problem with most chronic pain is all the medicines they are forced to take. Whatever it may be, it's bad because it can cause stomach upset, can be addictive, etc." (Peter Vuust, Aarhus University, Denmark) . All that music can do is very unbelievable. Science has changed everything that we know into something like music that can be used as medicine. Listening to your favorite music can reduce feelings of physical pain, increase intelligence, and increase creativity. Besides the fact of music increase intelligence and increasing creativity, it has been proven that by many different studies that music can perhaps be known to lower the physical affects of pain. • 7. Music as Art. My Favorite Music Style. Music as art. My favorite music style. Music is an art form whose medium is sound and silence that are organized in time in a special way. Its common elements are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture. In the historical context the development of music is inseparable from the active development of person's sensory abilities. Course of the auditory development of the man of the musical material in a changing cultural environment is the most fundamental part of the music history. Due to the rock–club, the rock–group for the first time there appeared a possibility to record and to give concerts legally and the authorities – keep rockers under the supervision. Russian rock went through a difficult period in 1983–85 years, when on the initiative of the Chernenko in the amateur groups were suppressed, the organization of concerts without state monopoly had been relegated to private enterprise and threatened to jail. During this period, the Moscow groups are particularly affected by from such measures, "Resurrection", "Bravo", "Corrosion of Metals", the police stopped their shows, and some of their members even visited detention. Only in 1985 the opening of the Moscow Rock Laboratory was opened that allowed the capital groups to legalize their activities. And with the beginning of perestroika and glasnost in 1985, the musicians got the opportunity to perform live. "Nautilus Pompilius", "Aquarium", "Zoo" and "team C" became popular. The end of the 1980s was marked by the final output of Russian rock from the underground. Several films were shot, which have become an integral part of Russian rock culture: В«CrackerВ» (1986) with Konstantin Kinchev, В«NeedleВ» (1988) with Viktor Tsoi, В«AssAВ» (1987) with the В«AquariumВ» and the other, В«Taxi BluesВ» (1989) with Peter Mamonov. • 8. My Favorite Music Essay I was raised around many types of music, and I have heard many different songs. However, there is one music group that I have listened to off and on for a very long time. This group is Blue October, and I have listened to them since I was six years old when my mother first introduced me. The music from Blue October is ever changing and has been linear to my ever changing life. I love the music that they make because it is real and alive. I look for sincear songs; Blue October meets this expectation that I have. The song "Into The Ocean" is the first song that I had ever heard by them. I remember the first time I had ever hear that song was on my moms CD plater when her and my dad were still together. We were living in a two bedroom appartment and I was watching my mother draw big beautiful paisly prints on thick paper with her shimmery gel pens. While I watched her hands I listened to the lullaby sound of the violin in the song. Even now, depending on how I feel, I will listen to the music most. I still borrowed my mothers CD player on numerous occasions. Apparently, I borrowed it so many times, it was just easier for my mom and dad to save the money to buy me one of my own. I now could listen to the song over and over as many times as I wanted. This was my very first CD player. I even got my own pair of headphones. They went over the top of my head and went over my ears with the thin foam that made sure everyone heard what I was listening to. This CD player was more Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. My Experience In Music And Music Music Throughout my life, I have been involved in a plethora of extracurricular activities, including swimming and student council. However, no activity has had a more noticeable and extraordinary impact on my life than my involvement in music. Since I joined my first choir, music has affected me personally, and through my involvement in piano lessons, extracurricular choirs, and even an All State choir, effects on my personal development are quite apparent. Besides my participation in my elementary school choir, my first experience with music that has had an enormous effect on my personal development is when I decided to start learning piano. After my eighth birthday, my parents decided they would sign me up for piano lessons with one of our family friends. So, every Tuesday after school, I would walk to my teacher's house to learn the basics of piano. At first, I did not appreciate what piano lessons were teaching me. I found the act of playing this instrument mostly dull, and it felt more like a chore to play rather than a fun solitary activity. However, as I grew older, I found myself gravitating towards the instrument more and more. The piano became a method of stress relief for me. As I became more involved in my school and community, my life became more stressful. As this stress built up, I began to search for a means of relief from this problem. I found that the piano was a perfect way of escaping my busy world and appreciating what life had to give to me. As I Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 11. Descriptive Essay On Music The piano is one of my favorite musical instruments. It is a great instrument because of how easy it is to pick up on it. Unlike other instruments like the violin and guitar, you always know what you are going to get when you attempt to play a note. It also sounds amazing and it is very relaxing to the ear. Pianos are played in many styles but the two most popular styles would probably be classical and jazz. Jazz styled music is most focused on improvisation while classically styled music requires you to master many skills from the keyboard. Classical is known to be the hardest style to learn. I tried to play a few classical pieces on my piano but each hand is playing completely different notes at different times and it's hard because the notes are played so fast. If you accidentally play a wrong note, it doesn't sound right. My favorite genres of the piano are classical and light jazz. There are many singer–songwriters who play piano that inspire me to play. The sound of the piano is very unique and I like how you can combine many keys to make cool melodies. The piano has evolved over the years from the harpsichord to the grand piano to digital keyboards. In 1700, the piano was born thanks to Bartolomeo di Francesco Cristofori. The piano is a fascinating instrument that has changed over time and continues to be an important instrument in the music industry. The first piano was created by, Bartolomeo di Francesco Cristofori. It is an expression of certain aesthetic ideas through rhythm, tune and language. • 16. My Favorite Music I have been immersed in music for most of my life. My musical home is influenced by both American music–culture and Pakistani music culture. I grew up listening to Pakistani, Indian, and American music and still do. Along with those cultures, I recently developed a taste in South Korean music. However, I have never thought about how my musical home and the music culture I grew up in influenced my music preferences. My tastes in music cannot be labeled as one certain thing. My iPod is filled with music of many different genres and cultures. If I were to break down my music preference, there are generally three aspects that influence how I resonate with music: the vocalization, the instruments, and the lyrics (if any). Apart from those aspects, songs that express a certain emotion or story clearly appeal to me. Vocalization is what most attracts me to a certainsong or style of music. There are some artists whose voices and tones attract me no matter what genre they sing. Some of my favorite artists are Arijit Singh, Shilpa Rao, Roy Kim, and Yoo Kihyun. Singh has the type of voice that sounds pleasant no matter what type of song he sings. His song "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" shows the emotional depth of his voice while his song "Nashe Si Chadgayi" shows the more playful side of his voice. Rao has a very smooth and soothing voice. Her song "Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo" mixes her soothing voice with EDM. It is an interesting combination that is both mellow and exhilarating. Both Singh Get more content on HelpWriting.net

The strong, steady beats, the entrancing melodies, and the lyrics that vary between heart–warming and heart–wrenching have always had an unexplainable affect on my life. Music seems to have the ability to change certain aspects of my world. If I am in a foul mood, an angry girl band can make my rotten attitude even more irresistibly awful. When I am happy, any sort of upbeat, dance–to–me kind of music enhances my joy that much more. I love to study to classical music, daydream to classical music, even sleep to classical music. When my older sister got married, I wanted to do something special to remind her of our childhood and to take her mind off of the wedding stress as we were getting ready the day of the wedding. I thought back to all of the songs we loved when we were little, many of which were sung by the infamous one–hit–wonders of the eighties. I think each generation has songs that are popular to them and that they will never forget the lyrics to. However, if you mentioned the artists that sang them or the names of other songs they sang, no one would have a clue what you were saying. Still, the songs are precious to the people that grew up with them. When my sister and I listened to the CD I made for her in the limousine on the way to the ceremony, we were both brought right back to the days when we were growing up. He would put me first then all of his friends. To be honest, I felt great getting this much attention. Admittedly, I only hung out with Eddie because of his risky behavior. He was a daredevil in my eyes, and everything he was I wanted to be. Although, Eddie had everybody fooled by his facade but I knew deep down how much of a monster he was. On a cool Saturday night, Eddie invited me to a ghetto party at a shady, crime filled neighborhood. I stupidly accept his invitation, and we drove to the place.
