Job Duties:
- Supervise 5-17 Soldiers in daily operations, local, regional, state and national level
HAZMAT response exercises
- Develop internal HAZMAT response exercises including resourcing, conducting,
evaluating and documenting the exercises
- Plan, resource, conduct and maintain IFSAC accreditation of OSHA HAZMAT
Awareness and Operations courses.
- Responsible for HAZMAT and NIMS training, certification, and qualification records
maintenance of over 300 Soldiers
- Develop coordinated standing operating procedures compliant with appropriate laws,
regulations and guidance
- Operate and maintain military and civilian chemical and radiological detection and
monitoring equipment including JCAD, LCD 3.3, AN/UDR-13, AN/PDR-77, various individual
dosimeters
- Responsible for continuous tracking and monitoring of assigned personnel radiation
dose rates and lifetime cumulative doses
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of $1.2 million in vehicles and equipment.
