TECHNOLOGY
 Omni-Heat Black Dot is being touted as the
industry’s first external thermal shield built to
protect the wearer from the cold.
 It’s an extension of Columbia’s Omni-Heat
Reflective lining, a lightweight insulation.
 There are thousands of dots on the exterior of
the jacket, each of which is made of aluminum
and covered with a black coating to enhance heat absorption
from scattered or direct sunlight.
 The lining is made from Omni-Heat Reflective,
which serves to bounce back the body’s radiant
heat like a space blanket, and the jackets also

BRAND INTRODUCTION
We are Lotte Vink and Kasper Petersen, the founders of LABFRESH
LABFRESH started as a Kick started project in January 2017.They have always
believed we should be able to expect more from our clothing.
Turns out a lot of people feel the same way. They became the most backed
European apparel project in crowd funding history. They quit our jobs, got small
office in Amsterdam and started building a business from scratch.
In the last 2 years company build a supply chain, a website and a brand in the
process. LABFRESH has been on TV, radio and in leading magazines such as Esquire,
Bloomberg and Business Insider.
They were finalists in the startup competition Get in the ring and the Accenture
Innovation awards. They even won 1000 dollar from Awesome Amsterdam, which
they used to make anti-bacterial socks for the homeless. Gotten give back
sometimes, right?
The LABFRESH team is a crazy bunch of entrepreneurs. They challenge the status quo
and go against the grain in a bid to clean up the fashion industry and solve the
problems of the modern man/women. They play hard but work harder, doing what

How we apply the technology: Our patented FreshCore technology is applied around the
yarn, without creating a coating. We combine 3 different technology on100% cotton and still
keep the natural feeling and breathability of the cotton.
The Testing Process : We check quality and performance several times during the
manufacturing process. Stain repellency, antibacterial quality and winkle resistance are all
tested along with the quality of the fabric.
Sustainability : With LABFRESH we hope to change consumption patterns. Buy less, wash less
and wear longer is our way to reduce waste. By applying the latest innovations to textiles, we
create cloths that look good , last longer and keep up with your lifestyle.
Cotton from the USA, spun into yarn in Switzerland : We source premium cotton from rusted
partners across the USA, which is then sent to our mill in Switzerland. There the cotton is spun
into yarn and woven into raw cotton fabric.
The fabric is prepared for treatment
First the fabric bleached and sanitized, then the desiring removes the natural wax layer so the
treatments can better absorb. Lastly, mercerization ensures the dye will better and last longer
in the final product.
Our patented Freshcore™ technology is applied around the yarn, without
creating a coating.
No Compromise on comfort: Our products are treated around the yarn, without creating a
coating. This makes the fabric stain and odour repellent and wrinkle free, but still keeps the
natural feeling and breathability of the 100% cotton.
The finished fabric goes through multiple steps of performance and quality testing.
Testing the technology :
We test the stain repellency with a spray tester and the antibacterial quality under a
microscope by checking the amount of bacteria visible. The wrinkle-free treatment is tested in
an actual wrinkling machine: the fabric is twisted and turned then released and we measure
the amount of wrinkles after each time.

12. Quality control
We check the product after each step of the
manufacturing process, from the cotton fibers to the
finished shirt. This way we can guarantee that you
receive a product that meets our and your
expectations - every time.
The fabric is cut and sewn in Portugal and North
Macedonia.

Your shirt is hand-finished to the highest standards by
skilled artisans. We use Ascolite™ thread to ensure you
never lose a button. Small details like this means we can
deliver a product like no other.
