What is eStream?
• Replacement for the Media Archive
• TV programmes can be recorded and shared
• You can upload your own pictures and videos to share
• Videos and photos can be embedded into your Moodle course
• Sections of videos can be linked to using Chapters
• Photosets can quickly be created and shared
• Mobile accessible
Please note: Students can only view content and do
not have the ability to upload their own

Can I leave my media on Media Archive? Why
move it?
Media archive will become unavailable from the
end of this academic year.

Media Archive links in Moodle
Q:

My Moodle course has links to Media Archive, will
those links be updated when the video is moved
to eStream?
Unfortunately not, you will need to update the
links on your course yourself.

Missed a program?
Q:
A:
I meant to schedule a program for recording but
forgot to, what do I do?
If the program was on channels 3, 4, 5 or any BBC
channel, you’re in luck, we record every show just
in case. If it was another channel, you’ve missed it.
Simply go to the Scheduler, find the program and
add it to the system.
Please note: BBC channels are available for 2 weeks
3, 4 and 5 are available for 1 week
