Getting New Subscribers to
Complete Their Profiles
A case study on how to guide new users to complete profile info
after signup
Product: Kravin Kitchen
Kravin Kitchen is the leading business
management platform uniquely designed to
help food trucks, meal prep businesses, and
virtual restaurants streamline operations and
increase sales.
My role
As the Product Manager, I made designs in
Figma and wrote and refined user stories. I
used intuition, customer feedback and
qualitative and quantitative data taken from
Mouseflow to shape the product.
Problem
90% of new subscribers were not completing their profiles which is
required for them to enjoy the platform’s features. Below are things
preventing them from doing that:
• Customer is not routed to profile info
page after signup
• They need to navigate to the
dashboard
• Lots of profile info is required
• Creation of a stripe account is
required
• See old design
Solution
To get customers to enter profile info faster, we routed them into a flow where
they enter their profile info one step at a time
After providing an email and a password, the customer is immediately
prompted to move to step one where they add first and last name and
a profile photo.
In step 2, they are asked what services they provide.

In step 3, the chef indicates what specialty they provide In step 4, the chef adds photos of foods they have
prepared
Solution
In step 5, the chef indicates the reach of their service In step 6, the chef can invite their customers to leave a
review of their work
Conclusion
Unfortunately, we ran out of funding before we could evaluate the effectiveness of the
feature. We hypothesized this would result in more profile completions because industry
leaders such as Oncehub use step by step forms.
