WORK EXPERIENCE
Volunteer
Volunteering in a wide variety of Vocations which included helping with the running of the votes in the EU
referendum, Working for Smile through sport , Being a member of the award winning spectator services group
at the Rugby World Cup 2015 at St James Park , Being a spectator guide at the Super League Magic weekend , The
BUCS national championships and fulfilling mascot duties for Team Northumbria Netball team and Newcastle
Falcons respectively. This enabled me to reinforce my people skills and develop my large event management
skills.As a result i can communicate more effectively with people.
Volunteer
Volunteering in a wide variety of event roles such as The Great North Run , The Sunderland Half Marathon ,
The Stadium of Light Summer of Sound event (Which involved event services for over 70'000 ticket sales) , The
Sunderland Special Olympics among several other roles.
This culminated in:

This enabled me to take a keen interest in events and working with people which has enabled me to distill
confidence in working in a management role and in a team , as well as Independently.
Event Staff
Serving drinks on match days at Elland Road Stadium , Operating betting terminals for patrons on Racedays at
Ripon racecourse , making sure customers are priority! With this i have developed Bar working Skills and
Knowledge of betting, as well as reinforcing my customer service skills.

This course will enable me to build on my Sports Management Msc by enabling myself to work first hand with
athletes and will constructively build on the skills i have acquired through years of working in Sport and enable
myself to seek further opportunities.
The University of Northumbria
This course was designed to enhance my curent knowledge of sporting companies , and in doing so i have
acquired valuable knowledge in Sports Marketing Communications , Development , Finances , Human Resources
, Feasibility and Implementation and Leadership in management.
I have also had the privilege of attending various seminars involved with the IOC , such as the International
Canoe federation , the International Gymnastics federation, WADA among other organisations.
The University of Sunderland
Bsc in sports coaching enabling myself to learn in depth Physiology , Anatomy , Nutrition , Coaching , Special
development and Strength and Conditioning. This culminated in a 2.2 and enabled me to pursue higher
education.
INTERESTS
My interests lie in several areas , enabling myself to develop as a person.
I have great interests in Bodybuilding , Physical fitness , Documentaries , Sports (both team and individual) , Self
improvement, Investing , Reading , Blogging , Cooking , Advising among other hobbies which has led to a very
enjoyable life. Horse racing , Running , Power lifting , Walking and Rugby also are included.
My biggest interest though is developing myself to an extent where people say I've done the impossible.
Motivating people is a big interest to myself and is the reason i pursue my wants , passions and interests to such
a degree.
