Membership Coordinator for the Global Alliance for Surgical, Obstetric, Trauma, and
Anaesthesia Care (The G4 Alliance), I had the distinct pleasure of working with and
overseeing Ms. Ashmore on a variety of projects in her role as a Communication Intern over
the summer.
Ms. Ashmore was by far our most dedicated and reliable intern. She has performed
exceptionally in her role and has been an invaluable asset to our non-profit organization. Ms.
Ashmore has excellent written and verbal communication skills, she is extremely organized
and can work independently. Ms. Ashmore is able to multi-task to ensure that all projects are
completed in a timely manner.
Ms. Ashmore’s passion for understanding global health principals and public relations is
evident in her work. Ms. Ashmore developed infographics and presentations to be distributed
for web content and social media accounts including our UN Safe Surgery Event 2016.
Additionally, Ms. Ashmore provided support for development of print and online resources
such as newsletter, member updates, blog and press releases as well as logistics support for
special events and conferences to support the mission of the G4 Alliance.
Ms. Ashmore has demonstrated professionalism and respect in all her interactions with the
G4 team. She excelled at submitting projects in a timely fashion and communicated clearly
and effectively. Her genuine enthusiasm, commitment and passion for global development
