PUBLIC RELATIONS
 Created relations with veterans and families of veterans through public service and communications
before, during, and after restoring parts of the Sierra Vista Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, as well as
through catering at Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion events. This established strong
connections between the Boy Scouts and active duty and veteran military. Our work also put our troop
out in the public eye, so we were offered more volunteer community services for us to perform.
 While working with Whetstone Fire District, hosted safety fares, dinner fundraisers, and toy runs for
children in need. Established strong relations with the local community, which brought in more
volunteers to the department, and developed a more positive atmosphere related to the departments
work.
 Through the retail industry, I developed strong bonds with customers by being able to answer their
questions and further help them with more knowledge and insight into their situation, so that they
became repeat customers and asked for me on their return visits.
WRITING/EDITING
 Self-published writing blog involving creative writing. The writing serves to entice the reader and give
me more experience in writing for real world applications, as well as my aspiration to write my own
book.
 Created personal blog involving my own photography. The blog entails photography, editing, and
writings of my own work. These posts can be informative and instructional in the process of
photography.

2.  Photographed and edited for a blog that wrote for Chobani. Photography was artistically taken and
edited to enhance the look of the product in an appealing way. I also edited the blog writings to ensure
proper grammar and flow of the writing to capture the reader’s attention and interest.
COMMUNICATION
 Through the National Society of Leadership and success, I trained in leadership and success skills via an
introspective and interactive training session to broaden my knowledge and experience in networking
and communications.
 With my work in the fire department, professional communication that used simple language and clear
and concise wording were used, both on the radio and over the phone, to ensure that everything was
properly understood.
 Through the Boy Scouts of America, I helped establish a connection line between our troop and the
caretakers of the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista, AZ. We were able to continue
communications and work to create more projects between the caretakers and us to continue
beautifying the cemetery. This also helped us establish strong communications with the veterans in the
area to continue volunteer services with and for them as well.
