It would be a pleasure to speak with you about future employment. My TWC field placement
requirement in Human Services led me down my first career path even before graduation from TWC
in 1998. It was a wonderful 18 years serving the senior citizens of McMinn County and the
surrounding community. However, itis now time thatIpursue a new career path. In my future career,
I will utilize and build upon the talents and abilities gained in my position as Executive Director for
McMinn County Senior Citizens, Inc.
My strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills enabled McMinn County
Senior Citizens, Inc. to submitand obtain a variety ofgrants and other funding, as well as presentour
needs to both members and the greater community. I often presented to large groups, thus enabling
our organization to obtain funding as well as to recruit both participants and partners for our
programs and services. My excellent computer and organization skills, ability to multi-task in a fast
paced environment, and management of multiple projects on a daily basis enabled us to effectively
and efficiently grow our organization, as well as expand programs and services. Handling
information in a confidential and professional manner was a necessity as we served a variety of
individuals in a variety of service areas. Working both independently and as a team player was
crucial as we soughtgrants and partnerships with other organizations in the community. Being goal
oriented enabled us to move from project to project to improve our campus and expand our facilities.
