It is a pride and precious moment for me as I pen down the message for All
India Conference of Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (AICOG) 2016 going to be
held at Agra in the capacity of FOGSI Vice President 2016.
Agra is a place of great religious and historical significance but to me it is always
my home and alma mater. Aroma, Voices, Whisper, Noise, Sites and streets of
Agra is integral part of me. It is Brij Bhoomi, home of our own Krishna. It is land of
love and dedication; It is land of new horizons in society as well inner self. It has
openess and independence and it has secret mystery which can be felt but
cannot be revealed and expressed.
Agra is known for Tajmahal all over the world, yet it is much beyond that. Agra is
known for its laureates Meer, Mirza Ghalib, Gopal Prasad Vyas, Kaka Hathrasi
and many. Its contribution in freedom struggle of India, Nagri Pracharini Sabha
Institution founded to spread Hindi Language, Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra
Gharana in classical Music and Dance, its unprecedented food variety and taste,
its religious and cultural festival throughout the year and last but not the least
its educational institutions of excellence. Agra Medical School was first medical
school of India and one of the three oldest Medical College of country which is
named Sarojini Naidu Medical College after Independence. The series of
teachers and students of this college over generations has attained national and
international repute. Beside the city has always kept pace with good as well
difficult times. Today Agra is one of the most looked for city for education,
business and basic to advanced medical care.
Agra is now a favourite destination for national conferences of all medical fields
and especially FOGSI conferences and medical educational programs. We have
very fond memories of AICOG 2004 for warm hospitability and academic
excellence and we are sure that this AICOG will be a landmark in FOGSI history
for organisational and academic perfection. Dr. Narendra Malhotra, Dr. Jaideep
Malhotra, Dr. Barun Sarkar, Dr. Saroj Singh, Dr. Anupam Gupta and a dedicated
team of experienced as well young champions will put a great show.
Wishing us all a grand success of AICOG 2016, and A Very Happy 2016.

  • 9. Message It is a pride and precious moment for me as I pen down the message for All India Conference of Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (AICOG) 2016 going to be held at Agra in the capacity of FOGSI Vice President 2016. Agra is a place of great religious and historical significance but to me it is always my home and alma mater. Aroma, Voices, Whisper, Noise, Sites and streets of Agra is integral part of me. It is Brij Bhoomi, home of our own Krishna. It is land of love and dedication; It is land of new horizons in society as well inner self. It has openess and independence and it has secret mystery which can be felt but cannot be revealed and expressed. Agra is known for Tajmahal all over the world, yet it is much beyond that. Agra is known for its laureates Meer, Mirza Ghalib, Gopal Prasad Vyas, Kaka Hathrasi and many. Its contribution in freedom struggle of India, Nagri Pracharini Sabha Institution founded to spread Hindi Language, Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra Gharana in classical Music and Dance, its unprecedented food variety and taste, its religious and cultural festival throughout the year and last but not the least its educational institutions of excellence. Agra Medical School was first medical school of India and one of the three oldest Medical College of country which is named Sarojini Naidu Medical College after Independence. The series of teachers and students of this college over generations has attained national and international repute. Beside the city has always kept pace with good as well difficult times. Today Agra is one of the most looked for city for education, business and basic to advanced medical care. Agra is now a favourite destination for national conferences of all medical fields and especially FOGSI conferences and medical educational programs. We have very fond memories of AICOG 2004 for warm hospitability and academic excellence and we are sure that this AICOG will be a landmark in FOGSI history for organisational and academic perfection. Dr. Narendra Malhotra, Dr. Jaideep Malhotra, Dr. Barun Sarkar, Dr. Saroj Singh, Dr. Anupam Gupta and a dedicated team of experienced as well young champions will put a great show. Wishing us all a grand success of AICOG 2016, and A Very Happy 2016.
