The Department of History was
established in Ruia college since its
inception in 1937. Along with
academics it has excelled in various
curricular and co-curricular activities. It
organizes various events such as
lectures by eminent scholars, study
tours, workshops and seminars. Every
year the ‘Rajatarangini’, the Dept. of
History Association, organizes
intercollegiate festival titled ‘MUDRA’
which is scheduled on 22nd December
2017. Our theme is
“A HISTORICAL JOY RIDE”.

Civilizations”.
The questions for elimination round
on theme will be of MCQ type.
Participants qualifying this level will
face final round and questions will be
based on same theme.
3) RAMPING IT UP

An entry can either be a solo or
dual.
 Participants have to bring their
music in P.D.
The theme of the fashion show is
fusion of history with fashion.
Questions will be asked on
costumes and jewelry.
College will provide changing
room.

Entry has to be solo
Time limit : 5 minutes.
Performance should be based on
historical events and characters.
