Introduction
• Recently, a wireless sensor network composed of
battery-powered sensor nodes has attracted great attention.
• A wireless sensor network is used for monitoring environment
data such as temperature and humidity, etc.
2. 22
• Nodes are assumed to be deployed in a wide area.
Battery exchanges of the nodes are supposed to be difficult.

Wireless sensor network
We should keep the power consumption of the node to observe a
long term in a wireless sensor network.
Data collection method of cluster-based has been enabled to reduce
the battery power consumption.
3. 3
Data Collection Method of Cluster-based
1. Cluster Heads (CHs) are aggregated the data
from sensor nodes belonging to own cluster.
2. Cluster heads sends the aggregated
data using multi-hop communication
towards the sink nodes.

PARC
(Power Aware Routing and Clustering scheme for wireless sensor networks)[1]
• Features of the PARC are selected CHs considering
residual battery powers of nodes.
• PARC are integrated CH selection phase and route
construction phase into a single phase.
