2. Noun Adjective Agreement
In Arabic ; for Noun-Adjective Agreement, four criteria
must be met
 Number
 Gender
 Def/Indef
 Case

3. Number
If the noun is singular, adjective will be singular and
same is the case with plural as well as dual forms
Ayesha Bintun(SF.) Jameelatun(S.F)
Ayesha wa zainab Bintane(D.F) jameelatane(D.F)
Hunaka Al-Banat(P.F) Al -jameelat(P.F) fi hada alfasl
Sadiqui waladun(S.M) mujtahidun(S.M)
My friend is laborious
Sadiqua’apurva (D.M)waladane mujtahidane(D.M)
Asdiquao’nadine (P.M)auladun mujtahidoona (P.M)

4. Gender
If the noun is masculine the adjective will be
masculine and vice versa
Hatha Walad(N.S.M) taweel(adj.S.M) (this boy is tall)
Hathan waladane (N.D.M)taweelane(adj.D.M)
Haole Awlad (N.P.M)Taweeloon(adj.P.M)
Hatha Bint(N.S.F) taweelah(adj.S.F)(this girl is tall)

5. Definite-Indefinite
If noun is definite ,adjective will be definite and vice
versa.
Hathihi Albintu(Def.N.S.F) Aljameelatu .(Def.Adj.S.F)
Hatha Altalibu(Def.N.S.M) Almujtahidu.(Def.adj.S.M)
Hathihi - bentun(Indef.N.S.F)jameelatun(Indef.N.S.F)

6. Case
We have three major cases in arabic
 Nominative
 Accusative
 Genetive
Alkitaabu aljadeedu fi al-tawilati(Nominative)
Ishtaraitu alkitaba aljadeeda(Accusative)
Hada al-daras fi hada al-kitaabi aljadeedi (Genetive)

7. Subject verb Agreement
Arabic has 14 conjugation each for past and present
tense here the agreement happens on three basis
 Person
 Gender
 Number
In Arabic for subject verb agreement inflection
happens only in the trilateral root verb
