Scouting is value laden activity which is very important to every child’s life. It builds a character that is very
useful to the community and the society. It imparts learning and teaches skills that is useful as they grow old. The learning
that is being taught in scouting helps them to be fruitful in building the nation.
Hence, Compostela West district initiates and had successfully conducted a One-Day Roll-out training for the
Boy Scout of the Philippines school coordinators together with their school weekend advancement camp officers for the
revisiting of the weekend advancement scheme. The activity was done with a big purpose-continuing the weekend
advancement camps in every school to have more boy scouts.
