EDUCATON
Education shall ensure to

field of education at the same
conditions for career
guidance, access to studies,
the same teaching staff and
equipment. It shall ensure that
women have the same
opportunities to benefit from
scholarships and the same
access to continuing
education.

to programmes of continuing
education, including adult
and functional literacy
programmes, particulary
those aimed at reducing, at
the earliest possible time, any
gap in education existing
between men and women.

Employment
In this article it shall take all
appropriate measures to
eliminate discrimination
against women in the field of
employment in order to
ensure, on a basis of equality
of men and women, the same
rights to work as an
inalienable right of all human
beings.
An example is the equal
treatment of men and women
to have the rights to work in
the same employment
opportunities, to free choice
of employment, and to have
equal treatment in respect of
work of equal value, and also

movement of persons and
freedom to choose residence
that shall treat them equally
in all stages of procedure in
courts and tribunals.

the law, including rights to
enter contracts, administer
property, appear in court or
before tribunals, and to
choose residence and
domicile.
Article 16
Marriage and Family Life
It shall take all appropriate
measures to eliminate
discrimination against women
in all matters relating to
marriage and family relations
and shall ensure equal rights
to enter marriage, to choose a
spouse, to enter marriage only
with full consent, the same
rights and responsibilities
within marriage and the same
rights and responsibilities as
parents.

within marriage and on
divorce; and equal rights in
all matters relating to the
birth, adoption and raising of
children.

arbitration, any one of those
parties may refer the dispute
to the International Court of
Justice by request in
conformity with the Statute of
the Court.

women with the theme “The Human Rights of Women and the Girl-child are an Inalienable,
integral and invisible part of universal human rights.” Use the space provided below.

THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF WOMEN AND THE GIRL-CHILD ARE INALIENABLE,
INTEGRAL AND INVISIBLE PART OF UNIVERSAL HUMAN RIGHTS
In our society, Human Rights are universal, and civil, political, economic, social and
cultural rights belong to all human beings, including children and young people. Children and
youth are enjoy to the certain human rights specifically linked by the status as minors and their
need for care and protection. Girl-children are particularly vulnerable to certain human rights
violations, and therefore require additional protections. To achieve the consideration to be equal
irrespective of their gender, colour, profession, and the status that can be call equality.
All human rights are universal it is indivisible and interdependent and interrelated. It must
treat globally in a fair and equal manner with the same emphasis topromote and protect all human
rights and fundamentalfreedoms.Thehuman rights of womenand thegirl-child are an inalienable,
integral and indivisible part of universal human rights. It is a full equal participation of women to
ensure that the rights of women and girls are respected and protected by the rights of women and
girls.
In order to protect the human rights of women and the girl-child, it is necessary to avoid
as far as possible, resorting to reservations and to ensure that no reservation is incompatible. In
every nation it needs to value every gender equally to progress at the right place. To have a better
development in all aspects when both the genders are entitled to similar opportunities. That
includes the decision making, health, politics, infrastructure and profession that will surely
advance in the society to a new level. Today, we have successfully made our environment quite
safer, the women can step forward to get educated and pursue our passion.

ARTICLES IN CONVENTION EXPLANATION EXAMPLE Article 1 Definition of Discrimination against Women and Girls Discrimination against women includes any distinction, exclusion or restriction that affects women's enjoyment of political, economic, social, cultural, and civil or the purpose of harming or reversing women’s human rights and freedoms in any aspect of their lives. An example is an unequal treatment for women and men or the austerity and its impact on women that has a disproportionate and negative effect on women since women tend to work and use public services to a larger extent than men. When public services are facing cuts, women are severely impacted. Article 2 Obligations to Eliminate Discrimination Governments condemn discrimination against women in all its forms and will work to end it. This includes abolishing all existing laws, customs and regulations that are discriminatory. An example is to establish legal protection of the rights of women on an equal basis with men and to ensure through competent national tribunals and the other public institutions an effective way to protect of women against any act of discrimination. An example of Political and Public Life is the elimination of discrimination against women in political and public life must ensure, that women has the right to vote, hold office and actively participate in political parties, lobby groups and NGOs.

Article 8 Participation at International Level To ensure that women, on equal terms with men and without any discrimination, is the opportunity to represent their Governments at the international level and to participate in the work of international organizations like the United Nations. For example of Participation at International Level is the women must have the opportunity to represent their government at the international level and participate in international organizations. Article 9 Nationality Nationality must grant women equal rights with men to acquire, change or retain their children. Women must allow to pass their nationality to their foreign spouses on equal basis with men. An example for this article is the marriage nor shall change of nationality by the husband during marriage automatically change the nationality of the wife. Women shall have equal rights with men with respect to their children’s nationality. Article 10 EDUCATON Education shall ensure to women equal rights in the field of education at the same conditions for career guidance, access to studies, the same teaching staff and equipment. It shall ensure that women have the same opportunities to benefit from scholarships and the same access to continuing education. An example for article is the same opportunities for access to programmes of continuing education, including adult and functional literacy programmes, particulary those aimed at reducing, at the earliest possible time, any gap in education existing between men and women. Article 11 Employment In this article it shall take all appropriate measures to eliminate discrimination against women in the field of employment in order to ensure, on a basis of equality of men and women, the same rights to work as an inalienable right of all human beings. An example is the equal treatment of men and women to have the rights to work in the same employment opportunities, to free choice of employment, and to have equal treatment in respect of work of equal value, and also Women will have the same employment rights as men as well as maternity leave and special protection against harmful work during pregnancy.

Article 12 Health Care and Family Planning It appropriate measures to eliminate discrimination against women in the field of health care and shall ensure women equal access to health care services and appropriate services in connection with pregnancy, confinement and the post-natal period, granting free services where necessary, as well as adequate nutrition during pregnancy and lactation. An example of Health Care and Family Planning is the Governments will eliminate discrimination against women in health care and provide them with equal access to health-care services, including the family planning. Article 13 Economic and Social Life Economic and Social Life shall take all appropriate measures to eliminate discrimination against women in other areas of economic and social life in order to ensure, on a basis of equality of men and women, the same rights, in particular family that benefits to bank loans, mortgages and other forms of credit. One of the example for this article is men and women has the right to participate in recreational activities, sports and all aspects of cultural life. Women must have equal access to family an equal right to participate in recreational activities, sports and cultural life. . Article 14 Rural Women and Girls In this article it ensure equal rights of men and women to participate in and benefit from rural development, and shall ensure to rural women the rights to participate in development planning that has the access to adequate health care facilities and family planning. An example of Rural Women and Girls is the Governments will ensure that the particular needs of rural women are met in relation to access to services, training and employment opportunities and social equity schemes, and act to eliminate discrimination against them. Article 15 Equality before the Law Women shall have equality with men before the law. Women and men shall have the same rights regarding movement of persons and freedom to choose residence that shall treat them equally in all stages of procedure in courts and tribunals. Example of Equality before the Law is the Governments shall give women equality with men before the law, including rights to enter contracts, administer property, appear in court or before tribunals, and to

Article 16 Marriage and Family Life It shall take all appropriate measures to eliminate discrimination against women in all matters relating to marriage and family relations and shall ensure equal rights to enter marriage, to choose a spouse, to enter marriage only with full consent, the same rights and responsibilities within marriage and the same rights and responsibilities as parents. An example of Marriage and Family Life is the women and men have the equal rights to choose a spouse and to marry; the same rights and responsibilities within marriage and on divorce; and equal rights in all matters relating to the birth, adoption and raising of children. Article 17 to 22 It detail how the CEDAW Committee works, including the role in the monitoring in the implementation of the Convention. An example is the establishment and function of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women. Article 23 to 30 It detail with the administration of CEDAW. That dispute between two or more countries concerning the interpretation or application of the present convention which is not settled by negotiation. Example if the request for arbitration the parties are unable to agree on the organization of the arbitration, any one of those parties may refer the dispute to the International Court of Justice by request in conformity with the Statute of the Court.

To achieve the consideration to be equal irrespective of their gender, colour, profession, and the status that can be call equality. All human rights are universal it is indivisible and interdependent and interrelated. It must treat globally in a fair and equal manner with the same emphasis topromote and protect all human rights and fundamentalfreedoms.Thehuman rights of womenand thegirl-child are an inalienable, integral and indivisible part of universal human rights. It is a full equal participation of women to ensure that the rights of women and girls are respected and protected by the rights of women and girls. In order to protect the human rights of women and the girl-child, it is necessary to avoid as far as possible, resorting to reservations and to ensure that no reservation is incompatible.
