Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts that are lovingly harvested
from farm-grown and wildcrafted plants through careful steam
distillation, cold pressing, or resin tapping. The result is pure essential
oils that are far more powerful than the botanicals from which they were

WHAT ARE

When taking Young Living Plus essential oils as flavouring, try these tips:
• Add 1–2 drops of Plus essential oil to a glass of water, NingXia Red®,
juice, yogurt, a sweetener of choice, or plant-based milk.
• Add 1–2 drops of oil (to taste) to meals when cooking.
NOTE: Only use the essential oils that have been indicated as suitable for
flavouring. Always consult individual product labels for usage directions.
HOW TO USE ESSENTIAL OILS
Use essential oils aromatically to uplift the spirit.
• Rub 2–3 drops of essential oil between your palms and inhale.
• Add a few drops of essential oil to a bowl of hot water. Cover your
head and bowl with a towel. Breathe deeply and slowly.
• Use your favourite essential oils in our diffusers.
Aromatically
Many essential oils are safe and beneficial to use directly on the skin.
• Place 2–3 drops of essential oil directly on the desired area
and massage in. Repeat as desired. Always follow the label’s
dilution instructions.
CAUTION: Essential oils are very potent and may be irritating to the skin.
If irritation occurs, apply Young Living’s V-6™ Vegetable Oil Complex or
any pure plant-based oil to the area to dilute. Citrus essential oils and
blends may cause photosensitivity. Avoid direct sunlight or UV rays for
up to 12 hours after applying them.

Australian Ericifolia is a powerful addition to your beauty
routine and aromatherapy sessions. It’s also great to keep on
hand for everyday skin irritations. Its dynamic benefits and
familiar aroma will have you reaching for this unique oil day
and night.
Blue Tansy is a rare botanical with a sweet, floral fragrance
that is best known for its use in luxury beauty products. Blue
Tansy can cleanse the skin, help reduce the appearance of
blemishes, and help moisturise when added to your favuorite
lotion.
Bergamot has a light, citrusy scent that can be both uplifting
and relaxing when diffused.
With a warm balsamic aroma, Cedarwood essential oil can
help create a calming and comforting atmosphere when
diffused. Add Cedarwood essential oil to your favourite skin
care products and apply topically or massage into the scalp
for the appearance of healthy-looking hair.
Basil essential oil has a fresh, herbaceous aroma that can be
calming and refreshing. Dilute with V-6 or another carrier oil
when applying directly to desired area.
Produced from distillation of the seeds of the wild carrot
plant, Carrot Seed has a mildly sweet aroma with earthy,
herbaceous notes.
Black Pepper is beautifully fragrant when used aromatically.
Inhale directly for its energising aroma or pair with other oils
such as Peppermint, Wintergreen, or Clove.

Cistus is believed to be the biblical rose of Sharon, and its
honey-like fragrance is soothing and uplifting.
The gum resin tapped from the copaiba tree in Brazil is steam
distilled to produce Copaiba essential oil, which is known for
its high levels of betacaryophyllene and a sweet aroma.
Clary Sage has an herbaceous aroma that is believed to
create a calm and relaxing environment.
A unique essential oil from Ecuador, Dorado Azul is exclusive

Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood has a rich, sweet, warm, and
woody aroma that is sensual and romantic. Used traditionally
for meditation, this oil is uplifting and relaxing and is valued

Rose has a beautiful aroma that encourages feelings of
positive self-reflection. Twenty two pounds of rose petals are

This variety of sandalwood is native to India and is cultivated
at our partner farm in Australia’s tropical northern outback.
