7. PROCESS OVERVIEW
• Large scale bioremediation is done through various methods
including
• Ex-situ method (Land Farming)
• In-situ method
• Most widely accepted and economical method is based on
Land Farming.
• Water supply is an essential part of the process.
• Another tool required is the earth moving processes

8. • The pilot treatment for the Bioremediation of contaminated soil
was initiated by Aurum Chemical Corporation at a Production
facility located at District Sanghar.
• The whole project was of 8 weeks duration.
• It was done on 3 piles of soil of 1 cubic meter each.
• Water was sprinkled over each pile every day
• Soil shoveling was done after watering to increase oxygen content
in the soil
• The result after 2 weeks of the treatment has been very promising
according to the lab results. (Lab results on slide 14)
• The final result will be concluded after the complete 8 week
procees.
