 Assistant mechanic - at water wells rigs. From : 1980 Up to

Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible in servicing equipment from rig to
small machines.
 Mechanic - work over rigs . From 1990 up to 1994.

Main function of the job.
Participates in repairing and maintenance of mobile and
stationary machines and keep them in good working condition.
Duties and responsibility.

takes apart the heavy and light equipment and motors, checks,
repairs, maintains and re-assembles them using various kinds
of tools necessary for this sort of job.

Duties and responsibilities
- Supervises maintenance crews composed of technicians in
mechanical. Electrical, lathe and welding works, instruments, cooling
system, air-conditioning and carpentry with skilled aids and works
with these crews.
- Work with skill standard that enables him to repair and maintain all
kinds of rigs heavy and light equipment that are used by the company.
- Direct maintenance crews in and out of the workshop so that these
crews would carry out there various works according to the required
standards in quantity and quality.
- Personally perform urgent and complicated repairs on the rigs and
equipment, and he shall be assisted by his subordinates, ensures that
the equipment and machines under his supervision are ready to carry
out the job requirements.
- Ensure that the works entrusted to the workers of his workshop are
binge carried out according to the required standards and on the
specified time.
- Prepare programs and have them endorsed by the maintenance
superintendent for the periodical, general and complete overhauls of
the companies equipment and ensures that these overhauls are
carried out at the specified time.
- Prepare programs and requisitions for spare parts that are necessary
for the maintenance and submits to the maintenance superintendent
for endorsement, draw the spare parts from the warehouse and
distributes them to the technicians according to the need.
- Submit monthly report to the maintenance superintendent showing
the work completed ,the department that have befitted from it and the
status of the equipment in the workshop and their preparedness the
spare parts which have been used and which needed and any other
suggestions.
