K.I.T. Rooma Kanpur Roll No. 1616531010
2. OBJECTIVE
• Using the Internet of Things in homes and industries it is possible to
control any electrical or electronic equipment.
• We can get the information from any sensor and analyse it
graphically or in any user-defined format from anywhere in the world
5. WORKING
• Temperature information from DHT-11 sensor is analysed graphically
on platform using Arduino MCU and ESP8266 Wi-Fi module.
• The DHT11 sensor senses temperature, and sends the information to
digital pin 5 of Arduino MCU, From Arduino MCU, humidity and
temperature values are uploaded to the Cloud at regular intervals of
time through ESP8266 Wi-Fi module.
• From the Cloud, temperature values can be seen graphically on
platform from anywhere in the world.
8. APPLICATION
1. In Pharmacy Industry
2. In Agriculture Field
3. Food Safety Compliances
4. Digital temperature monitoring in laboratories
5. Warehouse and Inventory Management
6. Equipment Monitoring
9. Benefits of Temperature Monitoring System
• Save time with instant notifications and alerts
• Productivity improvement with advanced analytics
• Maintaining regulatory compliance
• Creating transparency in the supply chain
10. CONCLUSION
• The use of temperature monitoring sensors has enabled the
monitoring of change in temperature affecting the quality of the
products.
• Their implementation in different sectors has empowered the
logistics and warehousing operations of a company.
• The solution these sensors offers along with IoT allows companies to
monitor the temperature of their products in a cold chain.
• This is enabling companies to ensure the quality of their products
while they are in transit.
