To whom it may concern,
This letter is to confirm that Moumita Tasmin has volunteered with Evergreen in a variety of
roles starting from the beginning of 2014. I am pleased to say that she is a part of our team of
volunteers. Moumita has assisted as a volunteer interpreter and photographer for a newcomer
women’s gardening program where she assisted participants with planting seasonal vegetables
and herbs and offered English to Bengali interpretation. Later she assisted with outreach in
Thorncliffe Park as a community ambassador, and finally she has worked hard as a Community
Greening Volunteer Leader during the summer where she helped the public gain knowledge on
plant species, assisted with stewardship events, and encouraged participants to get their hands
in the soil! Moumita has shown her commitment through her contributions on making the city
of Toronto greener. She volunteered over 15 hours during this time. I very much appreciate her
fine contributions to our programs and look forward to working with her in the future.
