Professional Experience
2016 to present MFT Intern, Community Health Resources, Enfield, CT
18-hour/week clinical internship for the course of one year, providing child
outpatient therapy services to individuals ranging from ages 4 to 17 years old,
along with contextual family systems. Clients initiated therapy due to a range
of clinical pathology, including schizophrenia, oppositional defiant disorder,
conduct disorder, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder,
and neurocognitive disorders.
2016 to present Instructor of Record, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT
Instructor for two HDFS undergraduate honors courses of juniors and seniors.
Created the syllabus and designed course materials, facilitated faculty
presentations of current research interests, aided students in the thesis
research and writing process from its inception through completion.
2014 to present Research Assistant, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT
Acted as a student researcher by assisting on two consecutive research
projects. In the first, I assisted in the data collection of a comparison sample

of typically developing youth without a SUD, and aided in the data analysis
for data collected from three recovery high schools. The study focused on the
participants coping skills, emotion regulation, parent and peer interactions,
social desirability behaviors, and reactivity behaviors. I acted as a student
researcher for the second study through aiding in the design, data collection
and analysis of an experimental study of 57 participants, with 27 participants
from one recovery high school, which was split into DBT and Psycho-
education groups, and one comparison sample of typically developing youth.
The study focused on the distress tolerance, emotion regulation, depression
ratings, and impulsivity levels of each group, with the Comparison sample
participating in a baseline analysis and the recovery high school students
participation in a 6-week intervention.
2015 to 2016 Teaching Assistant, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT
Teaching assistant under Dr. Kari Adamsons for the two HDFS
undergraduate honors courses. Assisted in the facilitation of courses for
junior and senior undergraduate students in the process of completing an
undergraduate thesis project from its inception through completion, including
finding a faculty supervisor, creating a research topic and set of questions,
and guidance through the research and writing process
January to May Youth Forum Intern, The Connecticut Forum, Youth Forum Division,
2015 Hartford, Connecticut. Participated in facilitating the topic discussions and
small group conversations around the Forum’s specific themes during student
exchange events and school sessions, including body image and drugs and
alcohol. Assisted in entering youth and patron contacts and volunteer hours,
attended on-site appointments for prospective Forum presentations, and
gathered necessary materials to ensure each Forum’s success
August to December Uconn Connects Facilitator, First Year Programs, University of

management skills to aid six students at-risk of dismissal from the university.
Scheduled weekly one-on-one meetings with students to discuss academics
and made referrals to various campus resources to help promote the student’s
academic success and overall student retention
June to September Intern, The Center for Child and Adolescent Treatment Services,
2014 Danbury Hospital Intensive Outpatient Program, Danbury, Connecticut.
Aided in creating “positives” and daily goals with 12 adolescents,
participated in Expressive Arts therapy, and observed adolescent group
therapy and multi-family therapy sessions to implement open communication
and positive coping skills to further positive mental health for the future.
Created and broke down patient files, and organized additional information
packets and resources to provide patients and families in the program with
supplementary material if necessary.

2014 University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut. Acted as a student researcher
in the Developmental Psychology Department by assisting in the design of
the experimental structure and performance of trials and the coding of
children’s movements, to look at how children test out and learn motor skills
and cognitive abilities.
