longitudinal study; conducting and scoring the WAIS to obtain an IQ proxy at baseline; administering a
battery of questions designed to assess school achievement, risky behaviors, emotional callousness and other
factors that could be important in gathering data on ways to improve the juvenile justice system as it relates
to formal or informal processing. Participants include males between 13 and 16 who have committed certain
categories of crimes. The study spans 3 years with interviews conducted every 6 months.
