Chemicals peels are, by far, the most common dermatologic aesthetic procedure in Brazil. Chemicals peels
are easy to perform, effective and not expensive but they temporarily leave a thin and scaly skin which
is more sensitive to sun radiation. Healing products are indicated to decrease the inflammation and the
recovering time, reducing the chance of complications such as hyperchromia and secondary infections. A
clinical (in vivo) and histochemical (ex vivo) study was conducted to evaluate the epidermal regeneration
and the general skin condition after using a cream containing low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and
hibiscus post 70% glycolic acid peel.
A serum containing Retinol, low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid and Lecithyn effectively improves the
photoaged skin In Vivo and stimulates collagen, elastin and anti-glycation Ex Vivo.

Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is directly or indirectly involved in mechanisms that lead to collagen and elastin
reduction. The impairment of protein molecules by glycation is also enhanced by UV radiation. Such damage
impacts on epidermal, dermo-epidermal junction and dermal changes and clinically reflects the signs of
photoaging. The purpose of this study is to assess the clinical efficacy of a serum containing retinol, low
molecular weight hyaluronic acid and lecythin for treating photoaging and evaluate their effects on collagen,
elastin and glycation.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of a gel-cream containing resveratrol, vitamin
C, Palmaria Palmata and Brassica napus extract, alpha-arbutin, phytic acid and kojic acid for whitening
facial hyperchromia on the skin of Brazilian women, asses its effects on the stimulation of protective protein
HSP47 and quantify the production of melanin in skin flaps (ex-vivo) and melanocyte cultures (in vitro).
A serum containing Vitamin C, low molecular Hyaluronic Acid and Organic Silicium effectively
improves the photoaged skin around the eyes In Vivo and stimulates fibroblasts proliferation and
collagen production In Vitro.
