1. Dear #UTSAAlumni,
Congratulations on your graduation. You are part of a class that has done so much for UTSA, from filling
the Sombrilla fountain to tapping your way to a Victoria’s Secret PINK party!
We know that you have paid a lot of money for a UTSA education. The amount spent on piles of Chick-
fil-A, nonexistent on-campus parking, and all-too-existent student loans sure adds up! So, we want to give
you something that is actually FREE from the university – a complimentary first year ofmembership
to the UTSA Alumni Association!
There are a lot of ways you can stay involved with UTSA through your Alumni Association. If you’re
getting tired of ramen noodles for dinner, come out to one of our food-and-fun-filled events. Prefer to
spend your weekends binge watching Netflix? We can still help you connect with alumni chapters around
the country, volunteer for causes you care about, and network with other alumni (‘Roadrunners hire
Roadrunners’ is a phrase for a reason!). There is a good chance that you have your phone out right now,
so visit alumni.utsa.edu to see all of the ways the UTSA Alumni Association can fit into your life.
No matter where you build your own Roadrunner nest, you can find us on social media. We’re on
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Periscope, Flickr, LinkedIn, and Snapchat (yes, we Snapchat).
Enclosed is your first-year Alumni Association membership card. Carry it with you for entry into our
events – just make sure to remove it from your pockets before doing laundry!
Birds Up!
