As the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Concord
University, it is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Mohanned AlMulla.
Mohanned first came to my attention as a student in the upper-level Management Information
Systems course that I teach. He demonstrated curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and a level of
persistence that is uncommon among undergraduate students.
When I learned that he was seeking a practicum experience I sought and obtained responsibility
for being his instructor of record as I knew I could provide him some intellectually challenging and
satisfying work that would build on his MIS class experience and be useful to me in my role as the
VPIT/CIO.
Mr. AlMulla assisted me by researching and collecting helpful data that included student
computing facilities, IT service catalogs, and long-range strategic planning for our Office of
Technology Services.
His technical skills are very good. He is punctual, productive, gets along well with coworkers, and
a pleasure to work with. He is trustworthy, capable, and competent.
