It manages applications under programs including the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Self-Employed Program, and Provincial Nominee Program. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria including education, work experience, language ability, and lack of criminal history. The Express Entry system uses a Comprehensive Ranking System to score and rank applicants in the pool, and issues Invitations to Apply to top-scoring candidates on a regular basis.

Express Entry is the fastest and most popular pathway to Canada immigration. Canada Express Entry
is an electronic system to manage applications for Canadian permanent residence under certain

Who can migrate to Canada via Canada Express Entry ?
You do not need a job offer to apply under Canada Express Entry. However, if you have a qualifying
job offer from a Canadian employer, your application will be sent to the competent Canadian
immigration authorities (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) (IRCC).

2. Express Entry manages applications for Canada permanent residencies under the following
economic immigration programs:
The rule is that you must have at least one year of experience in Canada within the past three years
in one of the eligible occupations.
The Canadian Immigration Program stream under Canada Express Entry
You can apply to IRCC for one of the three Canada immigration programs:
- Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
However, you can only apply to one program. The Canada immigration authorities will process your
application in Express Entry if they determine you meet the program requirements and that none of
your preferences are subject to any restrictions.
You can rank the programs according to your preference. IRCC will then process your application in
Express Entry as fast as possible.
The Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) determines if you are eligible to immigrate
to Canada. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is comprised of your Express Entry profile,
including your key profile information (for example, age, education, work experience, language
skills).
Canada Express Entry 2022 Eligibility:
Canada express entry is a new immigration program introduced in 2017 by the federal government
for highly skilled workers and students. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can obtain
Express Entry status within two years of submitting their application. The program is aimed at
targeting the country's labor shortage and the under utilization of its education resources. However,
potential winners of the program have to meet certain conditions such as having a clean criminal
history and good health status.
International students are eligible for Canada express entry under two circumstances. First, all
international students require a study visa to access Canada education services. Second, students
with a valid study permit from an eligible country are also eligible for Canada express entry. Note
that the eligible country must have reciprocal agreements with Canada allowing study in its
universities and colleges.
Applicants must submit their Express Entry application no later than two years before their desired
entry date. This limit is determined by when their visa becomes valid- typically one year from when
they apply. Hence, to apply for a study visa in June 2019, applicants must submit their application no
later than October 2018. Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email confirming
that it was received and processed within 48 hours. Your confirmation number will then be provided

Health requirements are one of the most stringent parts of Canada express entry eligibility criteria.
Candidates must prove their good health by submitting medical documents from a certified doctor
within the last six months prior to applying. These medical documents must include proof of all
vaccinations, including yellow fever and measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccines. If a candidate
does not have all of their vaccinations up to date, they must have an exemption letter from the
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirming this fact. Furthermore, all candidates must have a chest
x-ray within one year prior to applying that shows no signs of active tuberculosis or cancerous
growths in the lungs or breast area.
Other eligibility requirements include having no police matters pending or convictions that would
prevent you from entering Canada as a student or worker (such as drunk driving). Furthermore, you
should not have any bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings against you or any overdue taxes owed
to any government agencies worldwide. You should also show you can financially support yourself
during your stay in Canada without receiving public assistance or living with a relative if necessary.
How to use Express Entry ?
