4. Why I’m in Korea I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior at a young age. I rededicated my life to Christ in middle school. At the age of 13, I went on my first overseas missions trip and realized that I wanted to serve God overseas. Throughout my middle, high school, and university years I participated in numerous missions trips and fell in love with cultures and sharing the love of God with others.
5. Why I’m in Korea At Liberty University I studied education and was uncertain of where I would work. I loved teaching and missions, but didn’t know how to reconcile the two. That’s when I found NICS and YISS (ICS). I have spent the last six years in sixth grade and now I am looking forward to working with the fifth grade.
