Mission.
Art. 4. The Academic Vice President, aware of the institutional mission,
tends to cultivate humanistic, social, moral, cultural values, strengthening
the academic units in the training of professionals with scientific bases,
technical, technological, axiological, committed to the productive and
competitive development of the Province, the Central Region and Country.
Vision.
Art. 3. Contribute to cultural development by generating qualitative
academic, based on scientific and technological knowledge in the practice
of humanistic, moral, cultural and social values, able to engage in the
structural changes that society requires, aimed at resolving the problems
and the contribution to the development of the country.

VISION
Being a Faculty of popularity and prestige at national and international level,
linked to similar institutions that are framed with the latest developments in:
science, technology, culture; and establish ourselves in a Faculty to lead
innovative educational processes that has a diversity of races where
experience and incorporate new paradigms for the formation of teachers.
MISSION
In the Faculty of Education Sciences, National University of Chimborazo,
form, train and professionalize teachers of all levels of Ecuadorian
educational system, according to contemporary didactic-pedagogical trends
in search of truth, development of culture and practice of values, aimed at
providing quality education to all social sectors of the central region and the
country.
LANGUAGE SCHOOL
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the school of languages is to form high quality teachers of
the English language.
Who are armed with the broad knowledge in the areas ofscience, technology,
and human studies are able to successfully engage the challenges and rapid
changes in todays globalized
VISION
The vision of the school of languages of the National University of
Chimborazo is to provide its students, in accordance with the most current
scientific and technological advancements, the necessary tools to confront
and solve the challenges inherent in the teaching and communication of
English in order to produce teachers who are critical thinkers dedicated to
the social development of their country who do not forget their moral
obligation to their fellow human beings.
