1. Tblisi is the capital and most
important city of Georgia.
2. Tbilisi is an industrial center (mechanical, textile, food,
distilleries) and communications.
The city has an international airport and is the focus of the
national road and railway arteries. Tbilisi has, at the
urban level, a metro network and a tramway. The
subway consists of 3 lines:
• Line 1 (red) "Gldani-varketili" (Ahmetelis Theatres-
varketili)
• Line 2 (green) "Saburtalo" (Vaza-Pshavela Vagzlis
Moedani) with a short section under construction
between vaza Pshavela and Universiteti
• Line 3 (blue) is being built in the Rustaveli-Vazisubani
in design from the north of the city on Rustaveli.

4. The most famous monuments to visit are:
City Hall and the Rustaveli theater;
Baratasvili avenue;
Cardin;
Academy of Sciences;
Methei;
Mtatsminda pantheon.
