Backline Engineer 2006 – present
Second Level Engineer, mentored and provided technical expertise to Support Engineers on
issues related to VERITAS Storage Foundation Product stacks running on Unix/Linux
environments. Primary duties included, administration (Operating Systems, Network, Storage,
SAN and File System), data recovery after storage loss or file system corruption, finding defects,
performance tuning, issue replication, debugging (logs, source code, scripts), consulting on best
practices and core analysis. Interface between technical support and software engineering
groups. Opened and managed engineering escalations, conference calls between vendors, support
and engineering groups. Created technical, and how to documents, clearly documented plan of
actions, analysis and resolutions.
• Installed, configured and administrated 100’s of test systems virtual and physical for the
