PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Diakonisches Werk, Head Nurse/ Office Manager. (2010 – Present)
• Work in an office setting coordinating schedules for 21 clients who
are severely & physically handicapped. Assign approximately 10
registered nurses and 80 care attendants to clients where they work
in up to 48 hour shifts providing care and company. Also manage and
pay invoices and organize quality care visits from government
officials. Have developed interpersonal skills and work well
independently and in a team.
Diakonisches Werk, Registered Nurse. (May 2001 – July 2010)
• Nine consecutive years of working as a Nurse/ Care Attendant for a
man who is a quadriplegic. Provided quality care in and outside of the
home, and in every avenue of life.
Diakonisches Werk, Civil Servant/ Nurse Aid. (2000 – 2001)
• Completed civil service obligation over one year’s time.

Michael is a native of the
Bavarian Forest in southern
Germany, but currently lives in
Regensburg. He possesses a
passion for working with people
in a variety of capacities. Michael
also looks forward to gaining
new experiences as he leaves
the German workforces and
joins one in Lawrence, Kansas.
