Michael D. Greenberg is currently the Director of the Center for Corporate Ethics and Governance and the Director of Intellectual Property at RAND Corporation. He has over 14 years of experience at RAND leading projects on various policy topics and managing teams for empirical studies, data collection and analysis, and writing. Prior to RAND, he worked as an Associate Attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duke University.

For the past 14 years, have served as an analyst and administrator with the RAND Corporation, a leading non-
profit, non-partisan policy research organization. Lead project teams at RAND in studies on varied policy
topics in law and business, civil justice, healthcare and national security policy. Responsibilities include
managing teams in the design and execution of empirical studies; qualitative and quantitative data collection
and analysis; law and policy research; serving as lead contact with clients, government officials, and senior

Currently serve as the Director for RAND’s Center for Corporate Ethics and Governance. Responsibilities
include business development; supervising a two million dollar research portfolio on corporate compliance
and ethics issues; managing timelines and budgets for Center operations; and recruiting and convening a
Center advisory board, consisting of executives and officials drawn from across the U.S. Notably lead
Center efforts in convening expert roundtables and producing reports on corporate governance, compliance
and ethics oversight, and corporate culture topics (2009-2015).
Also serve as RAND’s Director of Intellectual Property, the primary manager for protecting RAND’s IP,
conducting business case analysis for new technologies and methods, and developing related
commercialization strategies and licensing negotiations.
