Resource Management from the University of Phoenix. He also earned certifications to teach
Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Focus: Achieving Your High Priorities from the
Franklin-Covey organization. He is also certified to administer and interpret the Myers Briggs
Type Indicator personality test.
His career in human resources began at Unifi, a yarn manufacturer based in Greensboro,
where he worked for seventeen years in Human Resource supervisory and managerial
positions before making the transition to Training and Organizational Development through the
establishment of Unifi University, an onsite training center. Three years ago he went to Deere-
Hitachi as their training specialist. During his 20 year career, he served as president of the
Yadkinville Jaycees, president of the Toastmaster's Club, member of the allocations committee
for the United Way, and chairman of the Piedmont Workforce Development Board. Mike is a
member of Jamestown United Methodist Church.
After 15 years of learning the guitar Mike is still struggling with the basics, but keeps trying. His
other hobbies include spending time with his kids, fishing, golfing, watching Carolina basketball,
and growing his music collection. Mike enjoys spending time at the coast at Emerald Isle and
Swansboro, NC.
Michael Fogleman lives in Jamestown, NC, where he grew
up, attended Guilford County schools, and married his high
school sweetheart. He and Stacy have two children, Jenny
