Experience:
3/2014 – 10/2014 : Redi-Group Employment Agency. Contracted out to BMW. Trans-Pack, where
you wrap the cars to be transported on the train. I was then moved to Panel Exchange. We would
change out panels ie; hood, hatches, doors ect. To be repainted because of damage during assembly.
11/2013 – 3/2014 : Self-Employed. Painted cars in my shop at home.
7/2013 – 10/2013 : Proterra Inc., 1 Whitlee Ct., Greenville, SC. 29607. Duties: Performing body
work on the inside and outside of the bus parts. Sanding, priming and painting the finished product.
11/2012 – 7/2013 : Formel D Staffing Agency, Greenville SC. Contracted out to BMW. Duties
included: Spot repair in the painting department. This entailed assessing the damage to the paint,
prepping the spot to be repainted, mixing the paint and spraying the paint to blend with the surrounding
area that was not damaged. Buffing out the newly repaired area to blend with the rest of the paint on
the car.
7/2012 – 11/2012 : Self-Employed. Painting cars in my shop at home.
5/2012 – 7/2012 : Maaco Collision Center, 350 N. Pleasantburg Dr., Greenville SC, 29607. Painted 8-
10 cars a day. Production spray painting.
3/2012 – 5/2012 : Greg Porter's Body Shop, 3630 Calhoun Memorial Hwy., Greenville SC.29611.
Responsibilities included: blocking, sanding, sealing, priming and painting spot repairs in doorjams
and other small places of damage.
8/2011 – 3/2012 : Redi-Group Staffing Agency, 3519 Pelham Rd., Greenville SC., 29615. Contracted
2. out to work at BMW. Duties were to do final inspection right before the cars were loaded onto the train
to be shipped out for sale. Paint defects were judged to be either buffed out right there on the line or if
they were to severe they would be pulled and sent back to spot repair. I was then transferred to spot
repair where I would fix any damage before shipping was completed.
2/2011 – 8/2011 : Hilton Displays, 125 Hillside Drive, Greenville SC., 29607. Commercial sign
painter. Duties included: bondo, blocking, sanding, sealing, priming and painting large commercial
signs for display.
9/2011 – 2/2011 : 2 AM Group LLC, 2340 Hwy. 101 S., Greer, SC 29651. Duties: Worked in the paint
department doing spot repair on the damaged, new BMW's before they could be shipped out of plant.
5/2010 – 9/2011 : Larry Frank's Auto Body, 832 Fork Shoals Rd., Greenville, SC. 29605. Duties:
Automotive Body shop painter. I had all the painting responsibilities including: blocking, sanding,
sealing, priming, taping, mixing the paint, perfoming “spray-out's” to ensure correct matching of paint.
Painting the car/ and or parts and buffing the paint if it was needed.
10/2009 – 5/2010 : Self-Employed. Painted cars in my shop at home.
3/2009 – 10/2009 : D&D Ford Dealership, 1000 West Wade Hampton, Greer SC. Duties: Bodyshop
painter. I did all of the painting responsibilities in the body shop.
