2. The 53 Stations of the Tokaido
The Old Tokaido Road was one of the most important means of transportation for centuries. It
connected the imperial and cultural capital of Kyoto with the political and economic metropolis of
Tokyo.

Samurai, shogun, princesses, and others walked the Tokaido on their way through Japan.
The Tokaido supplied and dispersed materials, travellers and ideas and thoughts.
It remains the busiest shinkansen line to this day.
東海道五十三次
東海道は、何世紀にも渡って最も重要な交通手段のひとつでした。皇居や文化の中心地である京都と、政治・経済の中心地である東京を結んでいました。
侍や将軍、お姫様などが東海道を歩いて日本を旅しました。
東海道は、物資、旅人、思想、アイデアを供給し分散させました。
現在も最も利用者の多い新幹線である。

3. The old Tokaido Road was a historical means of proliferating ideas through Japan.
We at YouMeWe want to harness this idea in our campaign to put a computer in each
of the 600 children’s home in Japan.
Through a computer, you can access information and the world.
For some of these children, a computer will be pivotal for schoolwork, wider learning
and greatly increase their capacity to flourish in modern society.
Our massive mission for empowerment will begin along the 53 stations of the old Tokaido.

Computer and internet access are becoming fundamental to education and functioning in the wider world.
Teenagers who have access to home computers are 6-8% more likely to graduate from high school than
teenagers who do not have home computers.

コンピューターによるエンパワーメント
コンピュータが社会の中で果たす役割はますます大きくなり、デジタルリテラシーの重要性も増しています。
コンピュータとインターネットへのアクセスは、教育や広い世界で機能するための基本となりつつあります。
コンピュータは、情報へのアクセス、雇用や教育の機会を提供します。仮想化が進む世界では、宿題、就職活動、大学受験など、すべてがオンラインで行われます。
家庭用コンピュータを利用できるティーンエイジャーは、家庭用コンピュータを持たないティーンエイジャーに比べて、高校を卒業する可能性が
