2. CALL TO WORSHIP
L: The Lord reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the
many coastlands be glad!
P: Clouds and thick darkness surround the Lord;
righteousness and justice are the foundation
of God’s throne.
3. L: Fire goes before the Lord, and burns up his
adversaries round about.
P: The Lord’s lightnings illumine the world; the
earth sees and trembles.
L: The mountains melt like wax before the Lord,
before the Lord of all the earth.
P: The heavens proclaim God’s righteousness
and all the peoples behold God’s glory.
5. MOTHER
M is for the million things she gave me,
O means only that she’s growing old,
T is for tears she shed to save me,
H is for her heart of purest gold,
E is for her eyes with love-light shining.
R means right and right she’ll always be,
Put them all together they spell MOTHER
A word that means the world to me.
6.
7. John 2: 1-5
2 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana
of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was
there. 2 Jesus and his disciples had also been
invited to the wedding. 3 When the wine gave
out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They
have no wine.” 4 And Jesus said to her,
“Woman, what concern is that to you and to
me? My hour has not yet come.”5 His mother
said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells
you.”
8. 1 Peter 3:1-4
3 Wives, in the same way, accept the authority of
your husbands, so that, even if some of them do
not obey the word, they may be won over
without a word by their wives’ conduct, 2 when
they see the purity and reverence of your
lives. 3 Do not adorn yourselves outwardly by
braiding your hair, and by wearing gold
ornaments or fine clothing;4 rather, let your
adornment be the inner self with the lasting
beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very
precious in God’s sight.
9. 1 Peter 3: 5-7
5 It was in this way long ago that the holy women
who hoped in God used to adorn themselves by
accepting the authority of their husbands. 6 Thus
Sarah obeyed Abraham and called him lord. You
have become her daughters as long as you do
what is good and never let fears alarm you.
7 Husbands, in the same way, show consideration
for your wives in your life together, paying honor
to the woman as the weaker sex,[a] since they too
are also heirs of the gracious gift of life—so that
nothing may hinder your prayers.
10. Pass It On
It only takes a spark to get a fire going and soon
all those around can warm up to its glowing.
That’s how it is with God’s love once you’ve
experienced it; you spread his love to
everyone; you want to pass it on.
11. What a wondrous time is spring, when all the
trees are budding; the birds begin to sing, the
flowers start their blooming. That’s how it is
with God’s love once you’ve experienced it;
you want to sing, it’s fresh like spring, you
want to pass it on.
12. I wish for you, my friend, this happiness that
I’ve found; you can depend on him, it matters
not where you’re bound. I’ll shout it from the
mountain tops; I want my world to know; the
Lord of love has come to me, I want to pass it
on.
13.
14. PRAISE GOD, FROM WHOM ALLBLESSINGS FLOW;
PRAISEHIM, ALL CREATURES HEREBELOW; PRAISE
HIM ABOVE YE HEAVENLY HOST;PRAISE FATHER,
SON, AND HOLYGHOST.AMEN.

16. Acts 1:1-5
1 In the first book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus
did and taught from the beginning 2 until the day when
he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions
through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had
chosen. 3 After his suffering he presented himself alive
to them by many convincing proofs, appearing to them
during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of
God. 4 While staying[a] with them, he ordered them not
to leave Jerusalem, but to wait there for the promise of
the Father. “This,” he said, “is what you have heard
from me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be
baptized with[b] the Holy Spirit not many days from
now.”
17. Acts 1: 6-11
6 So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, is
this the time when you will restore the kingdom to
Israel?” 7 He replied, “It is not for you to know the times or
periods that the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But
you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon
you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea
and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” 9 When he had
said this, as they were watching, he was lifted up, and a
cloud took him out of their sight. 10 While he was going and
they were gazing up toward heaven, suddenly two men in
white robes stood by them. 11 They said, “Men of Galilee,
why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus,
who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in
the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
19. Soon and Very Soon
Soon and very soon, we are going to see the
King; (Hallelujah!) soon and very soon, we
are going to see the King; (Hallelujah!) soon
and very soon, we are going to see the King.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We’re going to see the
King.
20. No more dying there, we are going to see the
King; (Hallelujah!) no more dying there, we
are going to see the King; (Hallelujah!) no
more dying there, we are going to see the
King. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We’re going to
see the King.
21. No more crying there, we are going to see the
King; (Hallelujah!) no more crying there, we
are going to see the King; (Hallelujah!) no
more crying there, we are going to see the
King. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We’re going to
see the King.
