I am writing this letter in regards to Melody Miller, who is the AssistantGeneral Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn
Eden Prairie. I was the General Manager for much of her time at this hotel and was fortunate to have such an
outstanding team member to help me operate this facility.
Melody started as the AGM in February of 2000 and helped open the hotel in May of 2000. During this time Melody
was responsible for all departments,specializing in frontdesk operations.
As far as performance is concerned,Melodyproved to be a strong leader and specialized in multitasking all
responsibilities in order to run an efficient hotel.She was able to minimize turnover which resulted in one of the best
run departments Ihave ever encountered.
Melody’s organizational and technical skills are some ofher bestattributes.She is able to quickly learn new technical
programs and has always been a master trainer in teaching the team how to use the programs.
Melody Miller is outstanding towards the guests,vendors,owners,management,and mostimportantlythe staff. She
knows brand standards,budgets,and profit/loss statements.During Melody’s time atthe Hilton Garden Inn she was
used as a task force manager to help one of our troubled properties.By doing this she showed thatshe is a team
player and willing to go above and beyond whenever possible.Melody has manystrengths,with her strongest being
her ability to follow through. Whatever task she was asked to complete,she would follow through and ensure thatit
was taken care of with care and precision.
I would highlyrecommend Melodyfor any position knowing thatshe has a proven track record and a comm itment
that is second to none.
