1. Setting and Props
In our production, we wanted to make the setting seem realistic, as well as
very cosy and comfortable, in order to contrast the events of the murder. We
achieved this by adding in props to make the room seem homely, such as the
ship, photos and pillows. However, we still wanted to indicate that there had
been a struggle between the victim and her murderer. We achieved this by
making some of the objects seem out of place, such as the spilt marbles,
wonky pictures and untidy pillows.
