1. Pitch<br />Title of film – Twisted <br />Plot synopsis – The plot of our film involves David and Marline Franks a young couple from West Hampshire. Stalked by a stranger on a cold winter night the pair are attacked by a mysterious man. When David wakes up in a room only to find his wife has been brutally murdered and her killer is holding him there.<br />Opening sequence – Starting with an establishing long shot showing the couple enjoying a late night walk it quickly shows the murderous intensions of this mentally unstable stranger. We will be using close ups to capture the emotion and unsteady camera views to show the panic within the scene. The stranger will be first stalking his victims then we will show his attack, he will use chlorophorm to temporally disable David then a knife to kill Marline. A match on action will be used to on a couple occasions to give a more real and professional effect. The mis-en-scene will then change to a dark room where David wakes up tied to a chair. At this point the title will show. There will be backing music to add effect to the scene.<br />Creative techniques(detail how you intend to film your opening Discussing composition, use of conventions and creating enigmas) – The film opening will be filmed using various techniques and camera angles including; establishing shots, long shots, close ups, canted angles, match on action, unsteady camera shots and more. We will be using a tripod in all of the shots to make it look professional. <br />Finally discuss possibly funding/distribution issues surrounding your ideas – Our film will only need a small amount of funding for various props, we will be borrowing the camera from the college to keep costs low. <br />
