They focus heavily on the usual suspects (Apple, Microsoft, and Google), ZDNet also features
product reviews, software downloads and tons of news and analysis on tech businesses and issues

Engadget has exhaustively covered cutting edge devices and the technology that
powers them. They are looking beyond the gadgets themselves to explore how they
impact our lives. It is an exciting blog to read and to be aware of the latest and
traditional technologies. People will not be getting such knowledge on technology
from anywhere sources; you can check reviews of product before you buy a device.

industry verticals. I like this blog because it is very informative and had
professional written articles about business finance.
8. Entertainment Blogs
Mashable takes the worlds of Twitter, Facebook, entertainment, news, and everything else techies are
talking about and, well, mashes it up into the kind of blog casserole we just can’t get enough of.
Mashable is the most entertaining place to get gadget, technology and social media news. Besides, you
can be updated here and informed on what's new on social media allowing you to know the trends for
marketing purposes.
9. Entertainment Blogs
It is the social news and entertainment company. BuzzFeed is redefining online advertising
with its social, content-driven publishing technology. I consider that BuzzFeed provides the
most important breaking news, original reporting, entertainment, and video across the
social web. Every time you enter on this blog you will find the latest trends.
10. Entertainment Blogs
They are dedicated to maintaining a respectful community that actively engages in lively
discussions about news stories and blog posts. I like the ideas in the articles, but there are too
many distracting ads and gossipy side stories that insult celebrities, celebrities are human too.
11. Web-based Collaboration Tool
Docs: allows you to edit
and style your
documents. It is like a
word documents without
caring about the new
software. Also, it gives
you the chance to not
save again your
documents; it
automatically saved as
you type.
12. Web-based Collaboration Tool
It has common
spreadsheet‘s tasks
and all for free.
Besides, you can
access your
spreadsheets

or without internet. It
has the same benefits
as Docs.
13. Web-based Collaboration Tool
It has common
PowerPoint’s tasks
and all for free. You
can access your
presentation
whenever you go. It
automatically saved
as you type and you
do not need to buy
more software.
14. Findings about Google Docs
I have been using Google Docs since I started to use a g-mail account. I think that it is one of the
best apps that Google has created. It allows me to create word documents in a computer that did
not have the software; you do not have to care about downloading new software or buying a new
one.
Besides, you have it online, so you will have your documents whenever you go. You do not
need a USB anymore; or if you lose your USB, it does not matter anymore because you have
them secured online.
It is important to know that Google Docs have the characteristics of Microsoft Office but
easier.
Also, Google Docs is an app that you can download in your phone or tablet.
You can also edit your documents with or without access to Internet, it will update at the moment
you reach a signal. I strictly recommend Google Docs because it saves you time, saves you money,
and saves your documents!
18. FINDINGS
We live in a digital era, with social media sites like facebook,
instagram and twitter. However, there is a professional network
called LinkedIn. I created my profile when I started to have some
professional experience. Since the first time, I realized that this
paltform will give me more chances to get important
connections and to achieve my career goals. For instance, I study
biology and I added some Nicaraguans biologists and talked to
them about our market. Besides, I have received many e-mails
from people that are interested on my professional experience.
20. Findings
I consider that it was a great opportunity to familiarize
with blogs, since we learned about different types of
blogs in task # 1. Many years ago, I wanted to write
topics related to environmental science and now I
have the option to start it in wordpress. Blogging has
become a source of not only expressing one’s
thoughts but it has also become a source of income
and it also has enabled people throughout the world
to come in contact with each other consequently
building itself to a social media.
