7. Our future Ideas
● Our ideas are from a student’s perspective.
○ innovative. fun. fresh.
● We will need a higher budget, but it’s for a good cause.
○ it costs more to effectively advertise.
○ consider funds from UNO, a local donor, or a fundraiser.
● All of this will be well-worth the work when Milk4Kid gets more
attention and the need for milk is lowered.
8. Our ideas
● Redesign the Flyer
○ consider a graphic designer or
a UNO student.
○ more professional look.
● Target local opinion leaders for
promotion.
○ high school student athletes.
○ local opinion leaders such as
Ben Gray, Ernie Chambers,
even Warren Buffett.
● Over advertise the campaign
○ Word of mouth
○ post the flyer for the campaign
everywhere on campus
○ utilize social media with
hashtags, Instagram with
pictures, Facebook with page
shares.
● Utilize UNO’s learning communities
○ Thompson Learning
Community, Goodrich, Young
Avenue Scholars,
○ Most require students to do
service hours.
● Collaborate with Girl Scout cookies.
○ It’s a successful business.
Revenue from sales is 700
million
○ GSC are on campus now.
College students love them.
Easy for M4K
● Consider human interest when
promoting the event.
○ spotlight a child affected by a
milk shortage.
6. Have you guys utilized local opinion leaders or even
student athletes who have a huge fan base. I know
Lipshultz mentioned utilizing high schools.
9. Ideas (cont.)

at 4pm-5pm. On weekends,
shoppers start at 11am
● Have UNO students create a
promotional video
○ Can give more information
about the milk shortage.
● Reach out to Fraternities and
Sororities
○ They need philanthropies
○ have a strong presence on
campus - free advertising.
• Have hunger collaborative host an
on-campus event for the affected
children.
• get money from university
• have college students pay for
milk and breakfast
• highly promote this with news
coverage, social media, and
UNO’s website.
