(Quantum Technical) was established
in October 2009 to provide a complete
Professional disaster recovery and
Restoration service to the insurance
industry for properties affected by
Water, Fire, Smoke, Mould, Storms

The company is owned and operated
by some of the most experienced,
knowledgeable and respected
restoration people in the industry

Our Managing Director and co-
founder Mehmet Ucar holds tertiary
qualifications in Electronics and
Computer systems engineering and
is a highly trained and experienced
restoration professional in all aspects
of restoration. He has a wealth of
industry knowledge and has held
management and directorship
positions in many of the major
restoration companies in Australia.
Mehmet plays an active role in the
day to day operations of the business.
Throughout his career Mehmet Ucar
has been involved in many of the

recovery and restoration projects
throughout Australia.

our managing director Mehmet Ucar is one

Our Business Development Manager,
Kevin Daye, has extensive Insurance
Industry experience having managed Loss
Assessing and Property Claims teams for
major Insurer (IAG) and for a major capital
city branch of a Global Loss Assessing firm
(Cunningham Lindsey Melbourne), while
also having overseen the optimisation of
the national building model as Category
Specialist for CGU, amongst other key

2014 Commercial Fire/Flood Loss
(Docklands): Estimated Total Loss
$5,000,000
Involving fire and water damage to a modern
21 level apartment complex with 300 individual
apartments. The structural damage was
contained and the structure dried back to a dry
standard within 2 weeks. 290 of the 300 units
were reoccupied within 3 weeks saving the
insurers hundreds of thousands of dollars in
loss of rent claims. Fast and effective drying
of the structure saved the insurers millions of
dollars in secondary material damages costs
Awarded the Jena Dyco “2015 Most Innovative
Commercial Project Award” for this Major Loss
Project
2014 Commercial Flood Loss
(Melbourne): Estimated Total Loss
$3,000,000
Involving a burst mains water pipe on the 63rd
floor causing water damage to 61 levels of
common areas and apartments. Quantum did
not perform the drying for this project however
we did provide technical consulting services
directly to the insurers and guidance for the
restorers involved in order to expedite the most
timely and efficient completion of the claim.
2013 Technology Fire Loss
(Melbourne): Estimated Total Loss
$6,000,000
Involving a fire in the communications room of
an international banking and investment firm,
Quantum were involved in the initial mitigation
and restoration phases of the project, the
insured only suffered a total 2 days of down
time during the entire restoration project this
has potentially saved the insurers millions
of dollars in Business Interruption claims.
Quantum continue to support this insured
even today to meet there disaster recovery
requirements.

PLANT AND SPECIALTY EQUIPMENT
Quantum Restoration Services owns and maintains a vast inventory of restoration
and testing equipment. We currently own and operate 300 Air Movers, 100 Axial
Air Movers, 60 HEPA Air Filtration Devices, 50 LGR Dehumidifiers, 2 Desiccant
Dehumidifiers, 5 Extraction Units, Drying Mats, Inject-a-Dry Systems, etc
Our facilities are equipped to carry out a wide range of contents restoration works
and we are able to securely store customer contents over an extended period. Our
company vehicles are GPS enabled allowing us to track and monitor our vehicle
movements to ensure that we are able to route the closest available vehicle to any
given claim.
We are constantly investigating new innovations to improve our service levels

WORK AUTHORISATION
AND EXCESS
In most cases the insurer

party to sign a work authorisation
form, confirm that it is on order for
works to proceed as well provide
consent in relation to the payment
of the applicable excess, prior to the

CONTENTS RESTORATION
It is uncommon for a property to suffer damage without its contents being
affected in some way. A small fire may have left the odour of smoke in furniture

EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCESS
Quantum Restoration Services is equipped to immediately respond to all
natural and man-made disasters. We are committed to ensuring that we have
a quick response on all claims that are received into our call centre. Within
1 hour of the job being logged into our call centre, a Quantum Restoration
Service team member will make
contact with the property owner
to conduct an initial assessment
and make a time to attend site.
Within 2 hours our technicians
will be dispatched and ready
to respond. Within 24 hours

plan, complete with a scope of
works, a budget estimate and a

Increase in call centre and administration capacity – our call centre is built
to accommodate additional staff to ensure that we are able to cope with

increase our call centre capacity 3 fold within a matter of hours. We utilise
a list of casual administration and agency staff to accommodate the extra
