3. OBJECTIVE
The objective of this project is to design a Burglar Alarm System for a single
storied 2500 square feet shopping mall and considering the size of different
sections, the range of the safety and security equipment, the number of
customers and staffs of the Burglar Alarm System must be designed.

4. INTRODUCTION
The Burglar Alarm System is a collection of interconnected devices aimed at
protecting an object, usually a facility, from intruders and notifying the owner.
The entire system can be a simple alarm system appropriate for basic security
or a complicated one with potential possibilities for expansion. Burglar Alarm
system can perform functions like access control, detection, can give warning
and can have future expansion possibilities.

23. DETAILS CALCULATION
• For CCTV:
Our Dahua DH-HAC-EW2401P Bullet IP CCTV Camera can cover 130ft IR Distance with
angle view of 99.7 degree.
So we used 1 CCTV for each shop and room
For 20 shop and 2 staff room, we use 22 CCTV
For covering shopping mall outdoor area, we use 6 CCTV and 1 for control room
So total 29 Bullet IP CCTV Camera
• Our Panoramic V380 360 Degree CCTV camera can cover 20 Meter IR Distance
So we used 4 camera to cover 33ft long internal walking space.

24. DETAILS CALCULATION
• We used 4 Wireless Infrared PIR Detector to cover 33 ft long internal walking space, because
PIR Detector can cover 39 ft with 120 degree angle.
• Metal Detactor
We used one ZKTeco ZK-D3180S metal detector because it has 256 sensitivity levels and18
detection zones

26. COURSE OUTCOMES
• CO3: Design electrical building service systems subject to specifications and
constraints considering applicable standards and codes.
• CO4: Prepare and present basic technical documentation of a new building
services system. This address the whole presentation.
• CO5: Consider safety and societal issues in design of electrical service systems
for buildings.

27. In this project, we can maintain a shopping mall easily by this Burglar Alarm
System. We included all the most repayable security device for the security
purpose. We faced some problem to choose a proper floor plan to include 20
shop and other specification. After performing this project we can say, we are
able to achieve our objective and course outcomes and CO4 address the whole
presentation.
