4. 1) 2:143 ” Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly
balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations,
and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We
appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used,
only to test those who followed the Messenger
from those who would turn on their heels (From
the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous,
except to those guided by Allah. And never would
Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all
people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful.”

5. Reasoning…
If Allah appointed then where is the verse of the
previous appointment of the Qiblah??
Conclusion
a) Prophet (pbuh) received revelations besides the
Quran
b) Orders attributed to Allah
c) Binding on the believers
D) Such orders to test, to check who follows the
Messenger although the order not contained in the
Quran

6. 2) 2:187 ”Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is
the approach to your wives. They are your garments and
ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do
secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and
forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what
Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the
white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black
thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but
do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in
the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah. Approach not
nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men:
that they may learn self-restraint.”

7. Points worth considering
a) Approaching ones wife at the nights of Ramadan was
not Lawful
b) Those who approached they are admonished
c) They committed a sin because relenting and
pardoning only occurs if committed a sin
d) The word “NOW” makes it lawful
Conclusion
Earlier prohibition was made by a competent authority

8. 3) 3:123-126 “ Allah had helped you at Badr, when ye
were a contemptible little force; then fear Allah. thus
May ye show your gratitude. Remember thou saidst to
the Faithful: Is it not enough for you that Allah should
help you with three thousand angels (Specially) sent
down? Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if
the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your
Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making
a terrific onslaught. Allah made it but a message of
hope for you, and an assurance to your hearts: (in
any case) there is no help except from Allah. The

9. 4) 8:7” Behold! Allah promised you one of the two
(enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished
that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah
willed to justify the Truth according to His words and
to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;-”

11. 66:3 “When the Prophet disclosed a matter in
confidence to one of his consorts, and she then
divulged it (to another), and Allah made it known to
him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part.
Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told
thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is
well-acquainted (with all things).”

received revelation from Allah

them standing on

might cover with
shame the rebellious
transgresses.”

13. 7) 33:37 “Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received
the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock)
thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart
that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou
didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou
shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his
marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We
joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future)
there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter
of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the
latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their
marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be
fulfilled.”

riding, (as may be most convenient), but when ye are
in security, celebrate Allah's praises in the manner
He has taught you, which ye knew not (before).
Those of you who die and leave widows should
bequeath for their widows a year's maintenance and
residence; but if they leave (The residence), there is no
blame on you for what they do with themselves,
provided it is reasonable. And Allah is Exalted in

to follow you." They wish to change Allah's decree: Say:

(this) beforehand": then they will say, "But ye are
jealous of us." Nay, but little do they understand (such
things).”

Mercy, a party of them would certainly have plotted to
lead thee astray. But (in fact) they will only Lead their
own souls astray, and to thee they can do no harm in
the least. For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book
and wisdom and taught thee what thou Knewest

Most High, Most Wise.”

(pbuh) but also to follow him.

Three objections-1) as guidance 2) authority in law 3)authenticity of the preservation
Whoever rejects the sunnah has denied the religion
Recorded in the book
Not conveyed to the people verbally but conveyed through demonstration
Early years seventeeen years face the Qiblah in Madinah later the order was abrogated
Here Allah owns the responsibility of appointing the Qiblah--- but this order no where mentioned in the Quran
Before the revelation if take a nap after iftaar than cannot approach the wives
Some Muslims broke this rule
Proves a) a kind of revelation doesn’t become a part of the Quran b) The status of the Prophet (pbuh) as a law-giver
Message of hope were the angels– nowhere mentioned in the Quran
Even if the news was given by the Prophet it is referred to be given by Allah
Seige of Banu Nadir
The children will be asked to derive the appropriate conclusions
