Let’s Analyse the Quran…
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 3
 1) 2:143 ” Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly
balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations,
and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We
appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used,
only to test those who followed the Messenger
from those who would turn on their heels (From
the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous,
except to those guided by Allah. And never would
Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all
people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful.”
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 4
 Reasoning…
 If Allah appointed then where is the verse of the
previous appointment of the Qiblah??
Conclusion
 a) Prophet (pbuh) received revelations besides the
Quran
 b) Orders attributed to Allah
 c) Binding on the believers
 D) Such orders to test, to check who follows the
Messenger although the order not contained in the
Quran
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 5
 2) 2:187 ”Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is
the approach to your wives. They are your garments and
ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do
secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and
forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what
Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the
white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black
thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but
do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in
the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah. Approach not
nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men:
that they may learn self-restraint.”
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 6
 Points worth considering
 a) Approaching ones wife at the nights of Ramadan was
not Lawful
 b) Those who approached they are admonished
 c) They committed a sin because relenting and
pardoning only occurs if committed a sin
 d) The word “NOW” makes it lawful
Conclusion
Earlier prohibition was made by a competent authority
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 7
 3) 3:123-126 “ Allah had helped you at Badr, when ye
were a contemptible little force; then fear Allah. thus
May ye show your gratitude. Remember thou saidst to
the Faithful: Is it not enough for you that Allah should
help you with three thousand angels (Specially) sent
down? Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if
the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your
Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making
a terrific onslaught. Allah made it but a message of
hope for you, and an assurance to your hearts: (in
any case) there is no help except from Allah. The
Exalted, the Wise:
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 8
 4) 8:7” Behold! Allah promised you one of the two
(enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished
that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah
willed to justify the Truth according to His words and
to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;-”
 Abu Sufyan or the Makkan army
 The Promise referred here is nowhere in the Quran but
was conveyed by the Prophet (pbuh)
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 9
TheSecond Kind
Of Revelation
Prophet (pbuh)
received revelations
besides the Quran
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 10
 66:3 “When the Prophet disclosed a matter in
confidence to one of his consorts, and she then
divulged it (to another), and Allah made it known to
him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part.
Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told
thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is
well-acquainted (with all things).”
 A concrete example that the Prophet (pbuh)
received revelation from Allah
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 11
6) 59:5 “Whether ye
cut down (O ye
Muslim!) The tender
palm-trees, or ye left
them standing on
their roots, it was by
leave of Allah, and
in order that He
might cover with
shame the rebellious
transgresses.”
TheSecond Kind
Of Revelation
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 12
 7) 33:37 “Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received
the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock)
thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart
that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou
didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou
shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his
marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We
joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future)
there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter
of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the
latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their
marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be
fulfilled.”
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 13
 8) 2:239-240” If ye fear (an enemy), pray on foot, or
riding, (as may be most convenient), but when ye are
in security, celebrate Allah's praises in the manner
He has taught you, which ye knew not (before).
Those of you who die and leave widows should
bequeath for their widows a year's maintenance and
residence; but if they leave (The residence), there is no
blame on you for what they do with themselves,
provided it is reasonable. And Allah is Exalted in
Power, Wise.

“
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 14
 9) 48:15 ”Those who lagged behind (will say), when ye
(are free to) march and take booty (in war): "Permit us
to follow you." They wish to change Allah's decree: Say:
"Not thus will ye follow us: Allah has already declared
(this) beforehand": then they will say, "But ye are
jealous of us." Nay, but little do they understand (such
things).”
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 15
 10) 75:16-19 “Move not thy tongue concerning the
(Qur'an) to make haste therewith. It is for Us to collect
it and to promulgate it:But when We have
promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as
promulgated):Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and
make it clear):”
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 16
 11) 4:113 ”But for the Grace of Allah to thee and his
Mercy, a party of them would certainly have plotted to
lead thee astray. But (in fact) they will only Lead their
own souls astray, and to thee they can do no harm in
the least. For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book
and wisdom and taught thee what thou Knewest
not (before): And great is the Grace of Allah unto
thee.”

Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 17
 12) 42:51 ”It is not fitting for a man that Allah should
speak to him except by inspiration, or from behind a
veil, or by the sending of a messenger to reveal,
with Allah's permission, what Allah wills: for He is
Most High, Most Wise.”
 Who is the messenger mentioned here?
 Which are the two more ways mentioned according to
the verse given above?
 Around sixteen verses affirming the existence of the
unrecited revelation
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 18
 Conclusion
 A) The function of the Prophet(pbuh) is not only to convey
but teach the book, the wisdom, to purify and train them
 B) The ‘Obedience of the Prophet (pbuh)’ is as necessary as
‘the Obedience to Allah’.
 C) The obedience of Allah cannot be carried out without the
obedience of the Prophet (pbuh)
 D)The Muslims are not only obliged to obey the Prophet
(pbuh) but also to follow him.
 E) Whatever the Prophet (pbuh) does is either based or
confirmed by a revelation.
 F) The revelations are ‘recited’ or ‘unrecited .’
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,
drmayeser@gmail.com 19
Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada,

Therefore after his death his personal obedience is not
necessary…

  • 3. Let’s Analyse the Quran… Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 3
  • 4.  1) 2:143 ” Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful.” Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 4
  • 5.  Reasoning…  If Allah appointed then where is the verse of the previous appointment of the Qiblah?? Conclusion  a) Prophet (pbuh) received revelations besides the Quran  b) Orders attributed to Allah  c) Binding on the believers  D) Such orders to test, to check who follows the Messenger although the order not contained in the Quran Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 5
  • 6.  2) 2:187 ”Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah. Approach not nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men: that they may learn self-restraint.” Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 6
  • 7.  Points worth considering  a) Approaching ones wife at the nights of Ramadan was not Lawful  b) Those who approached they are admonished  c) They committed a sin because relenting and pardoning only occurs if committed a sin  d) The word “NOW” makes it lawful Conclusion Earlier prohibition was made by a competent authority Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 7
  • 8.  3) 3:123-126 “ Allah had helped you at Badr, when ye were a contemptible little force; then fear Allah. thus May ye show your gratitude. Remember thou saidst to the Faithful: Is it not enough for you that Allah should help you with three thousand angels (Specially) sent down? Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught. Allah made it but a message of hope for you, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah. The Exalted, the Wise: Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 8
  • 9.  4) 8:7” Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;-”  Abu Sufyan or the Makkan army  The Promise referred here is nowhere in the Quran but was conveyed by the Prophet (pbuh) Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 9
  • 10. TheSecond Kind Of Revelation Prophet (pbuh) received revelations besides the Quran Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 10
  • 11.  66:3 “When the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts, and she then divulged it (to another), and Allah made it known to him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, "Who told thee this? "He said, "He told me Who knows and is well-acquainted (with all things).”  A concrete example that the Prophet (pbuh) received revelation from Allah Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 11
  • 12. 6) 59:5 “Whether ye cut down (O ye Muslim!) The tender palm-trees, or ye left them standing on their roots, it was by leave of Allah, and in order that He might cover with shame the rebellious transgresses.” TheSecond Kind Of Revelation Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 12
  • 13.  7) 33:37 “Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled.” Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 13
  • 14.  8) 2:239-240” If ye fear (an enemy), pray on foot, or riding, (as may be most convenient), but when ye are in security, celebrate Allah's praises in the manner He has taught you, which ye knew not (before). Those of you who die and leave widows should bequeath for their widows a year's maintenance and residence; but if they leave (The residence), there is no blame on you for what they do with themselves, provided it is reasonable. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.  “ Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 14
  • 15.  9) 48:15 ”Those who lagged behind (will say), when ye (are free to) march and take booty (in war): "Permit us to follow you." They wish to change Allah's decree: Say: "Not thus will ye follow us: Allah has already declared (this) beforehand": then they will say, "But ye are jealous of us." Nay, but little do they understand (such things).” Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 15
  • 16.  10) 75:16-19 “Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it:But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated):Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear):” Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 16
  • 17.  11) 4:113 ”But for the Grace of Allah to thee and his Mercy, a party of them would certainly have plotted to lead thee astray. But (in fact) they will only Lead their own souls astray, and to thee they can do no harm in the least. For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book and wisdom and taught thee what thou Knewest not (before): And great is the Grace of Allah unto thee.”  Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 17
  • 18.  12) 42:51 ”It is not fitting for a man that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by the sending of a messenger to reveal, with Allah's permission, what Allah wills: for He is Most High, Most Wise.”  Who is the messenger mentioned here?  Which are the two more ways mentioned according to the verse given above?  Around sixteen verses affirming the existence of the unrecited revelation Presented by Dr. Mayeser Peerzada, drmayeser@gmail.com 18
