1. Overseas Oil trading Company
Overseas Oil trading Company is working in Pakistan for last 6-8 Years and they used to trade
furnace oil/high speed furnace oil both import and export. Their nature of business is Oil
marketing. They are having 26-30 workers working in terminal. And have 6 arm guards. The
person which guides us is Mr.Farooq Ahmed and his related detail is on 1st
page.
Now I will move forward and will tell about the related issue of fire and its inspection.
The main risk they need to cover under fire policy & elite perils is to Save HSFO. Their main
stock type is furnace oil and they use Sysmen system for recording maintenance of stock and use
overhead tanks for the storage of oil. For storing oil they use cupboards and having a proper
arrangement for raw materials if any. It means their house keeping is good. Their approximately
value of building is Rs 326 million and all the furniture, fixtures they import it from Dubai
naming Dubai style furniture.
Now I will tell you about Classes of construction and some walls, roof, electric wirings,
windows, terminal and tanker detail.
They have 1st
class construction. Thickness of boundary walls is approx 7-8ft long. Terminal
height =25 feet/308ft. width of tanker =3ft. Doors shape and design is simply of wooden
material windows structure is drilled. Electrical wiring is concealed.
As far as main power electricity is concerned overseas oil trading company take it from Port
qasim electric supply.
Now there are some details of Assets, Electrical Appliances & Machineries.
A total fixed asset they possess is Tanks +Pipe fittings +pumping stations.
Electrical appliances Fridge / Ovens/ Air conditions.
No of Air conditions =18.
Total number of machineries = 6 Tanks + 12Pumping Machines.
Total number of Boilers, heaters & generators =12NOS
Total number of buildings on certain locations =2.
Operation Timing is from 8.30am-5.30pm.
Now will brief some thing relating to Fire arrangements.
Fire fighting arrangements is very much up to the appreciation because they use good material
and maintained it some of them they use Smokers, fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers etc.
Fire brigade station is just 1.5-2km away from the place and Police station of port qasim is 3km
away from the company.
Water tank detail for fire fighting arrangement is underground.
Expiry date of fire arrangements is 1year.

2. EFU General Insurance Company is their insurance company and their period of coverage is
1year from 1july – 30june.
Night work and its coverage is when required or supply to WAPDA.
No claim so far arises.
Discount on fire policy given by EFU is up to 9%.
