fuel (HFO, LFO,NG)which was made by WARTSILA company (Finland)
Scope of work:
Start up , shutdown the power plant (the engines) and keeping it running in good
condition by watching and maintaining all systems belongs to engines and its
auxiliaries from CCR and LOCAL like.
1. Heavy Fuel Oil supply systems from the unloading area to the storage tanks to
transfer pumps to HFO treatment system to the feed pumps unit to the engines
(Pumps, Pipelines, HFO separators and multi kinds of valves)
2.Natural Gas receiving station to the NG ramps and to be sure of the specifications of
the NG from the supplier (like: methane No, liquids, dews, etc ...)
3.LFO system from unloading area to storage tanks to (engines feeding, high pressure
pumps and pilot fuel system)
4.The cooling water system by watching the specifications, levels, temperatures to
keep the cooling of the engines in the best conditions out of high temperatures,
corrosions, cavitations ... and recording the running hours to change it in the suitable
time or if it need
5.Watching the lube oil system and keeping it in the best conditions by treating it by
the separators and watching the specifications, temperatures, levels, viscosity... and
changing it when need by running hours or other circumstances
6.Watching the auxiliaries like,
*Waste heat gases steam boilers
*Auxiliary steam boilers
*Urea treatment unit (used to maintain environment emissions by the CEMS)
