14. Suggestions
• Please have more frequent birding sessions. Also bird/ animal id quizzes
on the group help a lot!
• Its well organized every year.
• It will b good if there are some activities to get know about birds more like
quizzes etc.
• Once a week, introduce a particular bird to the group. And let the
discussions about it happen. It will help less experienced people to learn
more and clear doubts.
• We have to make some workshop for first timer to know basic about
identification.
• No suggestion from my side. Everything is going good.
• If possible small Exhibitions about the Birds related books, feathers, nests
or any other related to birds in the campus. So that it will definitely attract
other than this group members also those who are interested with the
birds.
• The work should be carried on.
15. Would you like to describe How Bird Watching has helped you?
• Created awareness and more interest
• Easy id , improved interest .
• Bird watching helped me to identify birds not only through sight but also through calls. It helped me to learn
more about birds and their behavior.
• Had helped me realize how everything in an ecosystem is interconnected. And what we do to the environment
directly affects these animals.
• It makes me happy.

• Learnt a lot on birds and reptiles from this group
• It helped me to make use of my leisure time as something productive and gave me a happy and pleasurable
hobby. It helped me to get to know our fellow beings.

• It was the best part of my Post graduation days at Mangalore University. I had watched and experienced lots of
birds in the campus and outside. I was introduced to birding and has remained a hobby. Birding taught me
patience and to be alert.

• It has helped us tremendously. The experience was quite rewarding actually. We got to learn a lot of things.

• I am first timer but it made me to turn my ear on bird call and make some effort to watch or take glance on the
beautiful creature
• It's was gaining knowledge. And even though some are not had binoculars, but who have binoculars, they
shared. And explanation mainly about identifying the gender of bird was good. Guides are friendly in sovling
doubts. And amazing thing was, by hearing calls of birds identify the bird.
• It really developed my idea about birds. Additionally it also provide me an extra information about the nature,
habitats, etc. I really enjoyed this habit Greatly.
