ELEMENT is a compact OBD-CAN device
equipped with an integrated GSM/GPRS
modem, two independent universal inputs
(support digital or analog sensors), two
independent CAN interfaces, K-line
diagnostic interface, radio transceiver for
managing the immobiliser and wireless
blocking module (anti-theft feature).

SIM configured with Glonass applet in the
SIM OS (integrated by SIM card
manufacturer) and with 2 operators’ profiles:

The ECU will decide the switching logic
between both profiles
For telematics needs, modem will use TSL
active profile to exchange data
In the case of a crash, the modem will
request an eCall and SIM applet will
automatically activate the Glonass profile.
