In 2003, GE America was looking for a strategic partner NGC, the excellent domestic
transmission equipment manufacturer in China. A comprehensive investigation was carried
out to NGC by GE on several sides including management, R&D and production, etc.
Through our continuous improvement in our management, R &D, and production, NGC finally won
the respect and trust of GE, and was successfully appointed as GE’s international supplier in
2005.
Till today, NGC has supplied the traction gears to GE which are running on the railway all over
the world including Qinghai-Tibet railway, and wind turbine geadbox all over USA.

Siemens Mechanical Drives belongs to Siemens Drive
Technology Division, Industry Sector. It supplies mechanical
drive equipment for the use in industry production, covering
standard gear units, industry-specific application gear units,
equipment for wind power and couplings, etc.
The products are widely applied in the fields of light
manufacturing, building materials, mining, power transmission,
metallurgical engineering, port handling, marine, chemical and
environment protection.
Siemens marine gearboxes are mainly used in propulsion
systems with controllable pitch propeller, and some of its
specific products used in certain marine applications also cover
quite a lot market share, such as dredger gearbox, etc.
